Kerbey Lane Cafe - Westlake

This is our go to place for delicious, healthy food. It’s always fresh and the taste is distinct. Everything we have tried so far has been the best of its kind. Our favorites are their Cajun chicken sandwich, tortilla soup, David’s enchiladas and French toast.

Being from the east coast, this was my first visit here and I was pleased. Took our family of five and arrived at 1 PM . We had called ahead to get on the wait list as there is often a line during busy times, and we got right in. Pleasant efficient staff got our orders quickly and everything was correct as ordered. Extensive attractive menu for breakfast and lunch indicates I will have to return several times to try the items I would like to sample. I had the double cheeseburger with fries and it was very tasty - wagyu beef, a fresh toasted brioche bun and a special tangy sauce made it a large great lunch. The wife had avocado toast with a nice egg on top - very attractive plating and tasty. My son had a Cobb salad with avocado and his wife had a harvest omelette with tofu and she liked it. Each dish was fresh tasting, attractive and reasonably priced. This particular restaurant has ample seating, disability access, and plenty of parking and is also located in a shopping center where you can batch your other trips with a nice meal. Family friendly and there was a high chair available for our granddaughter. Definitely recommend.

It's basically a casual diner with lots of Mexican foods. If you set those expectations, it's wonderful. If you have kids it's wonderful. If you wanna sit alone at the counter. It's wonderful.

It could be a NYC diner. A corner bistro, a friend's house. Whatever you want.

Nice people, excellent service. Possibly the best poached eggs I’ve ever had (but please drain them better!) Good coffee, really excellent French toast — griddled, not fried. The space is kind of grim, though.

Midas were spot on. And the Verde sauce rocked.

Chilaquiles were phenomenal.

Kids love the playground and junior breakfast platter with pancakes, fruit and eggs. I love the cedar plank salmon, broccoli, and mashed potatoes, although they have a huge menu and everything is good. Maine Root soda is a plus as well.

We come here often either just my wife or the whole family, and it’s always a great experience. The staff make it what it is, they’re smart witty and funny. Then the excellent food follows. Do me a favor and make this a stop if you’re visiting or if you’re hungry and in the area. It wont disappoint.

We had such a great family breakfast after our kids soccer games! Everything was delicious and the service was especially excellent with Sarah, a real example of great service and true Austin vibe!

Sunshine is a great waitress. The food was good and fresh! I had the Shrimp and grits. My BF had the Chicken and Pancakes. Overall it's a nice location.

Compare with other locations. There is no waiting time for Saturday Afternoon. That’s awesome. And it’s pretty clean and relax. Food is remaining the same quality as the original location. Great job!

I started off with 3 stars but changed it back to five after my issue was resolved.

I was excited to come try this place out...until we ordered the Carafe for $29.95 (menus states 5 drinks) we poured 3 3/4 drinks...as I brought it to my waiters attention he attempted to say it was only supposed to have 4 drinks??? Needless to say I was a bit perturbed. He did finally come back with our 5th drink and apologized for the false advertisement. The drinks are however amazing!!!

Food is delicious and service is excellent! We enjoyed every minute of it! I was so happy to take my daughter there for her first Kerbey Lane experience and I know I'm going to have take her back!

This place is amazing. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff look like they want to be there. What really made my visits special, was my server Jay, and the clean up team. They put Nascar tire changers to shame. It was a joy to watch honestly. Definitely coming back.

I had regular coffee with my meal, good flavor. The cinnamon swirl on my blueberry pancakes was so good. I hadn't had that before and jalapeño smoked sausage. Lovely brunch with my daughter.

My husband and I visited Kirby Lane in West Lake today for lunch. We had the grilled salmon with basil mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. Everything was just delicious! Dessert 🍨 🥧 was homemade apple 🍎 pie and ice cream. We were more than satisfied with our food and were two happily full people by the time we left. We have yet to try their delicious breakfast menu, but it certainly won't be long until we do. The server was prompt and courteous, making us feel at home. Make time for a visit to Kirby Lane, it's too good to be missed!

Very attentive waitress! She went out of her way to make our "Happy Hour"
