Best Western Plus Wausau Tower Inn

Customer service was the absolute best. Friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and extremely clean as was the whole hotel. Would definitely book again. The bar and grill was an added bonus. Friendly staff and some of the best food I have ever eaten!!!!

Mark at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. I had no reservation and he found a room for me.
My room was neat and handicapped accessible.

We stayed there to attend a Cyclone Hockey game, very friendly staff all around, we ate in the onsite restaurant food great and such friendly restaurant staff all the way around! Large spacious, very clean up to date rooms. Will certainly stay there again!!

I was pleasantly surprised at the rooms in the hotel. Not the best western I’ve grown to see. Very clean and spacious. Even better than the hotel itself was the food at Cantina Boys on the main level! The chef and staff were great people making me look forward to coming back to Wausau

It didn’t feel like a typical wedge shaped room. In this circular hotel. I really liked the design. The Cantina Boys restaurant and lounge in the hotel was exceptional. It was great to hang out with other guests and friends next to the beautiful fire pit on the outdoor patio. Service was excellent. It will be the only place I would consider staying when I return.

All nice and new and clean. Only thing to improve would be a second chair in the room. Morning front desk person checked 511 road conditions for our trip, very nice.

The rooms were awesome. Very friendly staff. I liked the morning breakfast. The lady server was right on top of things, from cleaning to re supplying things. I especially liked she took time out of her busy breakfast schedule to chat with us as we shared our Halloween outing pictures from the night before to her. Awesome place to stay. My family and I will be back. A++++. Ps. That’s me as Franky. My wife and I won 6 th place at a dress up contest.

From check-in to check-out everyone was very nice. Room was very clean and comfortable. The bar, Cantina Boys, was fun. Cam and Charles very friendly and fun to talk to. Food WAS delicious 😋. Try the brussel sprouts!!!

My husband and I were in town for one night. 9/17/23. First off the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and polite. He checked us in and noticed that our room wasn’t flagged as clean already. I showed him I received a text message confirming it was. He insisted he go upstairs and check first and when he came down, he said it wasn’t quite ready, but he found us a different one that was ready. The room was very clean. Had a lot of space and there were five pillows on the bed, we happen to like a lot of pillows. My husband needed water and I called down to see if I could buy some. The gentleman told me to come down and he would give us some. I only had one small issue, which may bother some, but not us. Shampoo body wash and conditioner were really convenient located in the shower however, I had to fix the body wash. It wasn’t put in there quite right and there wasn’t any shampoo. But I don’t use shampoo and conditioner from hotels anyway, so it wasn’t a big deal. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. The biscuits were dry, but the gravy made up for it. They didn’t have bagels or pastries out. Again not a huge deal for us. The coffee was strong just how we like it. They had a variety of cereal, fruit and a pancake machine. Which made two flower shaped pancakes. It was a bummer that the yogurt machine was out of order. I highly recommend this hotel. My husband and I are not picky people. So while these things didn’t bother us. I’m just putting it out there for an honest review. Its a beautiful hotel, with a wonderful staff. Perfectly located, easy to find and close to shopping and dining. We had a wonderful visit and will definitely come back.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. Stayed before for work and will definitely stay for pleasure/vacation! Clean rooms, great breakfast and they have a wonderful bar and grill located downstairs!!

Very well maintained hotel with an on-site restaurant and a great location. The hotel hospitality was outstanding. Charles the proprietor of the bar/restaurant is one helluva cook. He's really outstanding. I was very surprised as to the quality of this older hotel and I would easily recommend it. The hot breakfast was very good, as well. This hotel is a great stay.

The front desk attendant was courteous and very helpful. Offered to come with me to my room when the first keys would not work so he could let me in if the 2nd set didn't work.

Perfect place to stay while my husband was in the hospital. Staff was amazing. Rooms were spotless. The Grille had excellent food. It was a wonderful place to chill out after sitting in a hospital room all day!

Great staff. I accidentally booked a non refundable king ADS room online and the front desk staff was able to switch me into a standard double at no cost at check in.

Wonderful place to stay - it is a second home on the road. All employees are extremely dedicated to make their guests comfortable. While our nation is feeling the challenge of finding employees, the Best Western Plus Wausau Tower Inn, has succeeded in making it work with the resources they have. All their employees wear multiple hats and work together to make guests welcome.

My stay was so delightful. I love walking down the curving hallway. The shape of my room was unique, and the patio-sized window made my stay on the 6th floor so fun, to be able to look out and feel like I was standing on a tall ledge. I love the chase lounging couch in the room! The room was clean and beautiful. Breakfast was yummy, with a good variety of options, my favorite part was the latte/coffee machine. It made a great latte!

We were in Waukesha recently for a family wedding. What I made the reservation I asked for an early check in several times since our wedding was at 4:00pm. When we got to the hotel the person in charge named Kelly was outside the door smoking. We did wait till she finished and came to talk with us. It was around 2:00pm. We asked for our early checkin and we gave her our name and we were told we were not paid for snd would to pay again. We had all of our confirmation information with us. She would not even look at our paperwork and was told if she let us in early she would to leave everyone one in early we were also told by this person if we didn’t like that we could cancel right now and leave. So we left to come back later in the mean time one of other relatives arrived early and they were allowed to check in early so they called and told us this. We came back and again she was very cold to us and dud check us in a bit early. We asked her why she told us at first we were not even registered but she would answer.
After that bad experience with Kelly checking in our stay was very nice…I was always taught the customer is always right and if didn’t like her job or having a bad day I’m really sorry but she didn’t need to take it out on us….
