Tenth Street Park

I give this park 5 stars because it is where I play basketball and unless there is a pick up game going, it is a quiet lil park that doesn't look like a park. Wouldn't be my first recommendation for a kids park.

My son loves it

Smaller neighborhood park the size of a city block. The park is kept up and is great for smaller children. There isn't a picnic pavilion with benches so if you'd want to have a picnic bring along a blanket to sit on. The park is surrounded by older homes and some being rentals. Most are kept up but some could use updating. All in all its a safe place for kids to play. There is enough open space if the kiddos were to play tag, touch football and even waffle ball. If you go in the summer be sure to bring along some sunscreen as there aren't tree's for shade.

The park has been changed early this year so that there isn't a slide or swingset, but they now have a seesaw-like thing a spinney thing. It is boring for some kids as the main attraction is nets that kids can climb on. Due to the lack of swings, many kids become bored quickly. It is a good place to go to if your kids like to run around and not climb.

It's a small park but it is nice
