Always delicious.
But I should ALWAYS check my order before leaving because they are at about 50/50 on leaving something out. And it's usually ALWAYS something my mom wanted. Today - left out her potato salad. She still filled up on Ribs and okra though!

We were recommended this place by a local, she said the food was great and boy it was. I had the 3 meat plate with brisket,sausage, and pulled pork and my wife had a pulled pork baked potato, and my kids had chicken tenders. We had such a great lunch, food and service was good. And when it was time to pay, we were touched by a blessing, we had our credit card out and we're going to give it to our waitress when she walked up and said that our ticket had been taken care of. It brought my wife to tears when she said that a couple sitting in the corner of the restaurant had paid for us and had already left. We were touched by what had just happened,speechless. I asked her if she knew who it was or if they were regulars, I wanted to shake their hand and meet them and thank them for what they did. It was very unexpected but very appreciated. I would like to meet this couple if I could to talk to them and tell them thank you so much.

Great food! The only place I have found the wonderful "Chicken Fried Pork Loin". Better than their great Chicken Fried Steak. The catfish - both fried and grilled - is great, too.
Ribs are super as are all the barbecue items.

We had a family vacation near Flint, Tx. Thought we would try some BBQ for dinner our second to last night in town. My husband and I both got the 2 meat plate with brisket and pulled pork sides of mac n cheese and potato salad. It was all very tasty! The potato salad isn't my personal style of potato salad, but still good. It was all so good, I tried their version of frito pie with chopped beef and my husband got fried pickles. Both soooo good. I would have never thought cole slaw on frito pie would work, but it was amazing! Added bonus was the service was wonderful both nights 😁

Absolutely amazing small town restaurant. I ordered the ribs and they were incredible. My brother ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was equally incredible. I'm definitely coming back here

This should be a guaranteed stop if you are out in flint. The food is amazing every time. Doesnt matter if you get a bbq plate , a club sandwich or a plate sized chicken fried steak. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

The food and staff are amazing!! Definitely a great spot to eat if you’re visiting from out of town. Will come again if we’re in the area.

Best place so far, nice people and I go there every other weekend because it's so great. It's a very good place to hang out or go eat breakfast. Best place to get a big baked potato that actually taste good.

Great homemade food. Fresh and very tasty. Bbq is delicious. Loved the Cole slaw. Super Peach cobbler. Great service too. Very friendly!!

Excellent! My waitress was Raynie and she was on point with everything, the BBQ was delicious, my best friend got the onion rings and he loved them.

Love the Purple Pig sandwich!! Such an exceptional taste for East Texas! Very much like the pulled pork sandwiches in North Carolina! So delicious!!

We had 7 people in our party and all of us thought the food and service was fantastic. Shout out to Crystal for the entertaining service. Happy to have found this place!

Excellent home style cooking/BBQ. Exceptionally friendly staff, generous portions and reasonable prices. The pecan cobbler is an absolute must have.

Great service, down home cook in and a homey feel to it. Doesn't look like much, but never judge a book by the cover. We loved it!

'Just wish they would bring back the tilapia! Bill is on his way for some "PIGS WINGS" and cobbler even as I share!

Found this gem while visiting Flint, TX. Some of the best barbeque I have ever eaten. Their version of the Frito pie was awesome.
