DeSano Pizzeria Napoletana - Downtown Austin

Definitely one of the best pizzas 🍕 you can find in Austin,you can tell De sano cares about pizza so much that there is a dedicated dough room. an open kitchen, wood-fired ovens, and communal seating for diners , and most important all ingredients for pizza are imported from Italy 🇮🇹

Pizza and salad were Amazing! 😋We ordered the large Daviola the dough was full of flavor and baked to a crisp like no other and the spicy red pepper gave it a great kick. The spinach chopped salad was the perfect match to go along with the pizza. Thank you for your excellent service! Looking forward to returning soon!

The pizza was amazing! Everything is fresh, the Italian beer lovely ! If you are visiting Austin this place is “must” to try. The lasagna pizza, an absolutely yes!

Highly recommend! Pizza was ready in less than 10 minutes. We ordered the Desano and it was hands down one of the Top 5 napoletana pizzas we’ve ever tried! A little pricey but you get what you pay for with this place. Also they have decent wine selection.

Would you just look at that thing! I mean seriously. Yeah, I was hungry and tired from driving all day but just stop for a minute and look at that pizza. Have you ever, and I do mean ever, seen something so simple yet so beautiful. Oh yeah, it was delicious, like beyond belief delicious. Crispy, creamy savory goodness. We used to have a joint like this in WF but unfortunately “it’s under new ownership” and they lost the script. DeSano has reassured me that all is right in the world when you care about what you serve and how you treat your ingredients.

It’s simple. You’re gonna be hungry today, definitely by dinner. Get in your hot rod, drive downtown and get you some of this. I guarantee you’ll fall in love with DeSans Pizzeria if you already aren’t.

Pepperoni Pizza was pretty tasty. The cost of a single large pizza with 3 waters was close to $35 and satisfied 3 people. Be warned that seating is pretty limited so you may need to take out at peak times.

Love everything about this place! Service is spot on and pizza is always delish! So convenient to walk before ACL MOODY show or when we are walking around downtown! Feels cozy warm and inviting like every small family run business should!! Visit the condiment bar with shredded basil and minced garlic yummmm 😋 sorry we ate it too fast for pic!

They make everything in front of you. It is very good place to eat. They have so many vegetarian options in pizza along with non-veg. After a long time i have eaten that tasty cannoli . Every bite make you realise how freshly everything is made. Must visit place . Its near downtown area so you need to find parking spot . And also sitting capacity is limited so keep this in mind.

A great little hole in the wall pizza joint pulling off the real deal when it comes to classic wood fired pizza. Pretty basic fare but done really well. Hand tossed and wood kissed to perfection at 800 degrees. They even do a little stuffed crust with ricotta that looks like a pizza crown. Definitely worth a stop.

First of all, the pizza here is phenomenal. They have got the dough down. It is very hard to find an authentic dough like this one. It is the perfect amount of chewy. Service was great and it is a cute vibe inside. Would absolutely suggest this place if you are looking for some truly great pizza with fresh ingredients.

This is some damn good pizza! Fantastic thin-ish (but not crispy) crust. Nice chew. Great flavor. The crust on my pepperoni pie is topped with fresh mozzarella and perhaps the freshest, most flavorful marinara I've tasted. This is a new favorite Austin pizza place for me. Biggest challenge is finding parking if you're not already downtown.

My three ratings are to be secondary to our experience. Understand that great food and personable service creates the best outcome, especially for a couple foodies from Minnesota. Napoletana pizza and cuisine is an art to be savored, and the familia at DeSano put on a clinic for one's pallet. We thank you for making our dining experience so very exceptional!

Amazing! Absolutely Amazing! As a self proclaimed aficionado and Pizzaiolo, it’s rare to find someone doing it right, all the way, and these people definitely are! The pizza was delicious, without doubt among the best I’ve had and I continually search for great Neapolitan pizza. Jeff, the manager was nice and friendly, pizza came out quick, team looked like they worked well together. Amazing unassuming atmosphere with incredible pizza! On the list for Austin recommendations!

Being a foreigner in US, I struggle to find that real Italian pizza here in Austin. My friend recommended me this place and this is definitely the best pizza I’ve ever had in the states! Almost better than the ones I had in Italy 😜

When you first walk in. You think what's this small place have to offer. Hardly any seating. Looks like a cheap place.

Then you order the pizzas and boom. Mouth watering. Delicious. Having want to eat till you are full.

The guy taking the order nice curious and made sure we found a seat to eat our magnificent pizza. We ordered the canolli another great desert!

Simple concept but high quality Napolitano style pizza. First time in for us as we were visiting downtown and the staff was friendly in helping us select the perfect pie for us. You can watch them make it and pop it into the super hot ovens that give it that perfect crust. Not a ton of indoor seating but our pizza didn’t last long before we devoured it. 🍕

These guys know how to make a pizza. Excellent staff and fantastic food with one of the best pies in Austin. It's a little pricey, but it's honestly worth it for the food orgasm that enters your mouth

We had a wonderful lunch today. The pizza was so good, but dipped with the garlic butter was heaven! The pistachio cannoli was amazing. The service was very friendly and helpful. They quickly saw we had a baby and helped set up a high chair to the table. Don’t miss a great meal!
