Prehn Dental Office

Best dentist ever! I used to go to them but stopped after my work schedule changed and unfortunately they're not open on Fridays, but finding a different dentist has been a complete nightmare, I ended up having to pay over $2,000 for work they have done for less than $300, I'm NEVER going to anybody else again.

Dr. Fred Prehn is an excellent dentist. His office is welcoming from the minute you enter the door. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. Dr. Prehn makes sure you have a beautiful and healthy smile. Highly recommend him if you are new to the area or just need to make a switch in your dental health provider.

Also, the way they handled my appointment after the Covid-19 crisis was outstanding!!! Never felt safer.

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I felt comfortable and safe during these Coronavirus times. Staff wore face masks, face shields and outer garment protection. X ray machine, chair and other areas were sanitized after each use and air purifier/circulation in use. Thank you for all of the precautions taken.

Very pleased, I don't like going to any dentist. I went to this Dr.Prehn with some issues and I'm very happy I will be going here from now on. Great people fantastic service. I will be going back with all my dental needs thank you very much. Five stars all the way!!!!!

I have been a life long patient of the Prehn Dental Office. Dr. Donald Prehn was the dentist for the entire Gerald & Jean Wergin family of eight. When Don retired his son, Dr. Fred Prehn became our dentist. The entire office is professional, friendly, and highly trained. Dr. Prehn keeps current with the best practices in his field. He has state of the art equipment. He is backed by a team of skilled friendly staff. My entire experience with Prehn Dental for 50+ years has been A+.
My mother, Jean Wergin also was a life long Prehn Patient, Toward the end of her life when she had dementia she continued her care at Prehn
Dental. She was treated with kindness, compassion, and dignity. Wausau is lucky to have Dr. Fred Prehn & his wife Linda as one of the pillars of our community.

Dr. Prehn is kind of rude and not very nice to work with... My husband's family never had money to get him braces when he was younger and I've been trying to get him for years to get braces to help fix his teeth. He never liked the idea of adult braces, heck who does? But he agreed to do it for health reasons when we found a dentist plan that would work with our insurance.
Dr. Prehn complained so much about his teeth-that he didnt want to work on them, how awful they were, it made him feel horrible and he refuses to go back. It makes me so sad I can't get him the help he needs because of how uncomfortable he felt there. I do feel he needs braces, but I have never felt they were beyond repair. My husband is 26, brushes twice a day, and tries his best. I'm just so disappointed with the customer service of this place.

I had a temporary crown placed and it fell off later that same day. Those bums wanted to charge me for an after hours call to fix it later that night.

This man is a dishonest and manipulative. He needs to know his place. We do not want your nastiness in Wisconsin.
