Once Again Music

Dennis was my first guitar teacher. Amazing guy! I took lessons with him for a little over a year when I was 11. In all of my years of lessons since then, none have been so memorable.
I'm 19 now, and I've been nagging myself for so long to stop by and say hi. But I am bitterly sad to know that I missed my chance. Just today I heard that Dennis has suddenly passed. I wish I had gone to see him, so much.
May God watch over your family in this time. Rest in peace, Dennis.

Dennis was my guitar teacher for several years when I was a teenager, and taught bass to my little brother as well. In addition to being a genuine, awesome human being, he taught us fundamentals as well as any songs we wanted to learn. If we had nothing to suggest he always had a sweet jam to teach. Many of the things i still play today. Dennis provided me a great foundation to build upon as a guitar player that I have used for the past 10 or 12 years it has been since he was my teacher. Saturday night jam sessions were always a great time as well! I highly reccommend anyone with an interest in playing or learning to play music to check out Once Again. Thanks Dennis!

I have been here twice for open mic nights. The first time was to support Against All Odds and the second was because the environment was so enjoyable and welcoming that I wanted to come back again. I cannot sing, I cannot play an instrument but I love to cheer on people who are and get the courage to get on stage. I love to watch people pour out their passions for others to enjoy. The environment is comfortable and the owner is welcoming. After checking in and talking with the owner for a few minutes it feels like it's not your first time there.
One of the main things that caught my attention was watching Dennis interreact with performers who went onto the stage. Of course he adjusted microphones, audio and whatever other adjustments needed for someone to play but it was far more than the bare minimum. There were a few people when I had been there who it may of been their first time in front of a crowd or just overall nervous and while they played Dennis would go through and adjust microphones, audio, settings and whatever else needed- without having them stop or seeming like doing these things were a hassle. He never seemed frustrated, he never critiqued, he just always tried to subtly do things for a performer to be able to be heard. There is a lot of compassion watching Dennis interreact with those around him...there was a lot of compassion and actions of what I would take as a great teacher. I have only been here twice but watching someone guide, teach and help create a relaxed, comforting and fun atmosphere is enough for me to want to come back. As someone whose husband started off learning music from our local music store in Florida as a teenager, it warms my heart to see a place that gives comfort that there are people who want to share their passion with others.
If you have not been before, I highly recommend stopping by to support a local business and musicians. $5, BYOB, Bring your own food and bring some company. It is well worth the visit!

My daughter and I are taking lessons. Thus guy is so genuinely nice and caring. I am so happy to have him as a teacher for us especially for my daughter. She loves him and gets so excited for her lessons.

Mr Dennis is one of the nicest men you’ll ever meet! Rogue is one of the sweetest dogs in the world, and the music is unforgettable.

Dennis is the man to see

Been years since I played there . Players changed out every so often . Had fun . Dennis was a good teacher for kids . Always someone new showing up . Inexpensive open mic . Nothing bad to say about it .
