The food is absolutely delicious. My favorite is the jerk chicken omelette 🤤🤤🤤 The French toast is always really good and they have new flavors every month. It’s definitely not for those looking to watch their weight but for everyone else get ready to eat good! It can get packed in there and the wait times can be long on weekends but worth the wait!

I was in the area and just happened to store in. I had no idea what to expect. Service is great, food was amazing, vibe was perfect. I’m glad I stopped in and I will again when I’m in the area. The homemade jerk breakfast sausages are to die for!

This place was unexpectedly wonderful. From being greeted with great customer service to our server to the bartender for those wonderful mimosas. I first googled them once it was suggested and the pics does this place no justice. The food was delicious. Omg the jerk chicken Alfredo omelette is my fave choice for now til I go back. The banana waffles and chicken were also a great choice. I will be back to conquer the menu.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place. We went Sunday for brunch and had one of thee BEST times creating new memories. We were a party of 18 and they accommodated us very well. Our waitress, Kenyatta was a Star, attentive, informative and made our experience lively. They have a plethora of choices, scrumptious goodness in every bite and a comfy cozy feel you only get around family. You know someone's granny or aunt was in the kitchen cooking. You will not be disappointed and will start looking at your calendar to see when you can come again.

Hidden gem in Blue Island. Very hearty portions of food and an incredible staff. First time going and tried the jerk chicken alfredo omelette. I was very impressed. From what I gathered, the place will fill up quick, which is a testament to the quality of food. I like the atmosphere...the place has a home feel about it. Parking may be an issue during peak times, but it might not be a bad idea to park a block or two away to walk off the delicious and filling meal. I'll be back to try out some other things on the menu...like that French toast.

I came in this morning. I haven't been in a while, beautiful renovation. My lamb chops were cooked to perfection. The staff were so sweet. The attention that they also showed to my 1 year old was just the icing on the cake! I cant wait to go back and I will definitely recommend to others.

I love this place..such a warm hearted establishment. The art on the walls, the sitting layout to the small bar area was all great. The staff was very friendly; greeted with a smile and waitress was very attentive. Now lets get down to the food..oh was it delicious. I rarely get french toast but man oh man was it good, soft and fluffy..just enough flavor to give life to the toast. And the bacon cooked to perfection..just the right crisp mixed in with a little fat..Omg..don't find to many breakfast restaurants with that type of bacon..I will definitely go back and tell a friend.

Very smooth, chill atmosphere. My food was good, friendly staff, intimate dining. To the chef/owner thanks for coming out to talk to your customers. Very nice moment. Keep going and continued success to you!

Impressive! This Cozy homestyle restaurant and bar is well equipped with great menu options, great service and an interactive owner. For many of us the decor mirrors what’s inside our own homes! The sense or familiarity really put me at ease. The food was delicious! To add the icing to the cake, or in this case pancakes they have many infusions to choose from! I recommend the chicken & blueberry Infused Waffles! Want to know what blueberry Infusion is? Well it has to do with the batter, and... just go and ask the experts! You won’t regret it! You’ll thank me! The owner greeted us and thanked us for choosing Love on the Blu! It was my pleasure, Thank you!!

Food so good it makes you want to smack your momma, lol! I've been here several times, and EVERYTHING I've tried has been amaze balls!! This time I had the salman and spinach (special) with eggs and cheesy hash browns, w/the banana nut bread french toast(special).. DELISH!! Before, I've had the deconstructed jerk chicken egg white omelet(special), the lamb trio(special), the fajita omelet, and both the caramel and the pineapple french toast(special). I would recommend all of these things, but especially the special menu items because they will rotate out. A little pricey, but for the quality it's worth it. This is definitely my new favorite breakfast place hands down! My only complaint is that they need to hurry up and expand because their reputation has already outgrown this small space.

I always enjoy my meal when I here. I noticed the recipe for the restaurant made jerk chicken sausage had change. I don't care for the red pepper in it. Other than that I definitely will return.

This was my 2nd time here and I must say that this time was way better than the 1st! Food was good, atmosphere was great, and my drink was good and strong! Glad I gave them another shot!! Will be back again!!

Great experience! I was greeted immediately and seated upon entering the restaurant. The staff is friendly and engaging. I had the shrimp n grits, a side of chicken sausage and a pomegranate margarita….Chile everything was delish! Definitely will return to try the flights and Other signature entrees.

The staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. Lamb tender, spice on the shrimp and grits perfect, salmon croquettes had a great outer crust and the chicken with waffles were a perfect pair with the chicken fried to perfect. The ambience was inviting... we even sparked up conversations with neighbouring tables. They also have mimosas ... yummmm. Unforgettable experience for a 1st time

Expect a line out the door! That is a testament to how incredible the food is and it was definitely worth the wait. I tried the crawfish omelet that was a special with sides of the strawberry French toast and lemon French toast. It was all delicious! The jerk chicken for another menu special was seasoned to perfection. I would just recommend they find a better arrangement for seating and serving guests. Otherwise, our server was wonderful, knowledgeable and on top of it. Be patient.

Was in town on business and stopped in with friends. The special was an Oreo French toast and with Oreos being my favorite I couldnt resit. They came with chocolate syrup and dusted with powder sugar lol oh boy!!!

I also had the cheesy hash browns and the spinach omelette. My company had the blue berrie pancakes, lemon French toast, cheesy hash browns and spinach omelette. Everything thing was so good we ended up ordering another round lol.

I also had a cranberry orange juice mix which is always a sweet spot as well. Be prepared to take a nap when you are done 😁 👏🏽
