Homer's Cafe

Just wanted to share some love for Homer’s Cafe in Homer Glen. This place is like a second home with some seriously good eats. Their chicken dumpling soup? To die for. It’s like a hug in a bowl.

The people working here are awesome too. Always greeting you with a smile and making sure you’re taken care of. And let’s talk about the prices – you definitely get your money’s worth with the portions they serve up.

So, if you’re ever in the area and looking for a chill spot to grab a bite, hit up Homer’s Cafe. Great vibes and great food. Trust me, you’ll leave with a full belly and a big smile.

This place is AWESOME! First time there, but I will definitely be back! We ordered the Fiesta Omelette and Meat lover, everything was fantastic!

I like going there because it is quaint and the atmosphere is nice the place is small the people that work there are so nice to everybody that goes in there I keep going back there to eat the food which is all good

I think we found our new favorite breakfast place. The inside is pretty small but feels very homey, like an old school hole in the wall family place. The food was delicious, I got a skillet & my husband got a combo platter. The portions were so large we had breakfast for the next day. The server was very friendly, very good coffee too.

Food is very good and service is always friendly.

The best breakfast place! Everything is seasoned and prepared right. My go to is Southern Breakfast while my hubby goes for Country Steak or their skillets.

Delicious.... I can't say enough good about this place and the waitresses are awesome see if Fabby if you come in.

I stopped in for a bite recently and decided to try the biscuits and gravy. I'd highly recommend it. Great service and strong coffee help round things out at Homer's. I'll be returning and while I'd like to try more of the menu... I think I hear the biscuits and gravy calling my name.

The amazing customer service is the first thing you notice. Everyone is polite and genuinely seems to care about your experience. Now, the food was well beyond expectations. I had the biscuits and gravy. My in laws are from Mexico and enjoyed the Mexican dishes like chilaquiles! The portions are perfect. This place is the real deal and deserves 100 out 5 stars.

I truly love this restaurant. The food is excellent and always fresh! I love the new server Jamie...she is so friendly and goes above and beyond with service. The restaurant was busy Christmas Eve and Jamie was going out of her way to make sure everyone was taken care of and had hot food on their table! Highly recommend this awesome diner!

Always great food! Ate outside its a beautiful day. Had the western omelet. My daughter had kids silver dollar pancakes and ate them ALL for a change. French toast rounded out our order. Coffee is good flavor too which is a must.

First the food: it is always fresh and excellent; the owner Alberto makes one mean omlete

Now the most important aspect of the Cafe. As a "long" timer at the Cafe I want to point out the superior service I now receive from Alberto's lastest hire Jamie. She is always prompt when a coffee is needed. Also she is by far the friendliest waitress in the restaurant.

Go for the grub come back for the superior service! Ask for Jamie!

Found it based on well-deserved reviews. Great menu, great food. It's a good thing we don't live nearby, or I'd be here too often.

They get the simplest things right, too. Conscientious attention to detail. Sauces are just right.

Found ourselves close by and won't go to Chesden again. I didn't want fried with no flavors, so went to cafe. All 6 had different breakfast and dinners. The salmon Benedict and home fries were awesome. But everyone was extremely happy with their meals.

Great food. Service is good. It greats busy sometimes is takes a little while for your food but its because they make everything there!

Small, cozy even. Not a place to go for a quiet, private meal. The only detractor was "The View" prattling on in the background on the large TV set. Shrill hens cackling on in the background telling me what to think does not help me enjoy my meal. But the food is really good!
