Woody's Steakhouse/Seafood & Grill

It was our first time eating there. We had went to Adkins and bought some furniture and my Mother in law recommended your restaurant. We eat out a good bit and I am a meat cutter by trade. I was very impressed with everything. We all got different items and everything was great. For you to be well off the beaten path I was very pleasantly surprised! Very reasonable prices , good portions, and delicious. Some people are impossible to please, but we know we will be back. If it was closer to us we would be regulars! Some people don’t appreciate anything. I read some of the negative comments and was really surprised at the silly things they complained about. They should be grateful. You can enjoy a nice sit down meal for what it costs to go to McDonald’s or even less. Please keep doing what you are doing and ignore the entitled generation!

We did have to take this detour looking for place to eat and we find out about this restaurant we were lucky the food was great and I love thier grill
veggies it was so good that I will have to return to Woodies very soon.
The place was busy due to the visitors traveling for the leaves changing color.

We went to woodys grill with our friends from fort payne alabama. . The service atmosphere and country fried steak dinners was totally awesome. It was our first time experience and we will go back and we recommend to everyone reading this to go experience woodys you want be disappointed. Like I said it's aawesome place to eat at. And very beautiful with a Hugh fish tank but you can't eat that fish. Lol. Be hungry because you'll get your money's worth. And prices are very reasonable.

The food was great! The service was amazing, she was by herself and took care of all of her tables and seated people. She was sweet and polite! Atmosphere was perfect! We will be back!

Enjoyed a Saturday afternoon meal here with my family. All the food was great except the French fries. Started with the blooming onion then we ordered catfish, country fried steak, wings, BBQ sandwich, and a BBQ plate. We will definitely return here the next time we are in Dogtown.

Service was quick and food was hot and fresh. We had country fried steak plate and chopped steak plate. The salad bar was good as well. Very pleased and would recommend.

First time after hearing good things about it. Food was great and nice portions. Service was poor at best. Couldn't get drink refills or anything else.

Wife got a bacon wrapped filet minion. It came without bacon so she said something to the waitress. Waitress replied, they must be out in back. However, another couple with us had bacon on their sandwich. I'm thinking for the price of the steak, they could have walked actors the street to dollar general and bought a pack. It was mostly the waitress attitude that was hard to swallow.

A shame to have that good of food and poor service.

Excellent food and service. Great little place off the beaten path. I had an excellent cheeseburger. Wife had fried catfish and she said it was very good.

The food was excellent. The service was excellent and I have absolutely nothing negative to share about the place. It is kind of out of the way unless your a local, and I am sure that's just fine with them but if your ever in the area don't hesitate to stop in. The staff are very friendly and quick with great service and the food was fantastic and not covidly overpriced like so many other places have become.

We spent 3 days in the area and tried several restaurants that was recommended. Why Woodys wasn't I am not sure. The food was the best we had while in the area, the service was great and the price was phenomenal. This will be a place I recommend to anyone that is in the area.

Five star restaurant! First time eating there. Very nice arrangement inside, fantastic service, great food, reasonable prices. Staff and owner extremely friendly, makes you glad you tried their establishment.
20 mile one way drive for us, but we'll definitely return.

Stopped by for the first time this evening and ordered a hamburger steak with grilled onions and peppers, mashed potatoes and grilled veggies and was very much pleased with my meal. The hamburger steak was one of the best ever! For desert I had a fried apple pie and ice cream. It too was delicious! I’ll definitely be back!!

Ate there for the first time this evening. Food was great. The restaurant itself was very nice inside,. The server was very good and service was fast. Owner was friendly. Prices were good. Very good experience. I will be back.

One of those little out of the way nuggets you always hope to find in a small quiet country town!

We passed by and decided to eat lunch here 10-31-21 while on our anniversary getaway. I have to say even though they was out of a lot of food, what we got was really good. Service was great and fast. Cant blame them for short supplies as right now its hard on everyone (thanks to the government). If we are ever back in the area we will eat there again.

I had Salad Bar @ Blackend burger, my son had the wings N fries. Everything was served hot and Delucious !! We will be back!!

Food was amazing and the people are very friendly

First of all, I don't know why all the negative reviews?? I had a ribeye(and yes there was reasonably amount of fat, but remember it is a ribeye!)and it was cooked perfectly medium rare! My wife had the crab cakes and she said they where hot and extremely good! The seemed vegetables we both had where cooked perfectly. I also had the onion rings and they where as good as it gets! This was my first time there but, definitely not my last! Prices are real reasonable, waitress we had was real attentive. So apparently like the owner commented previously, you all came in a really bad time when they were overloaded with patrons. Thanks for a wonderful evening!!

We had my husband an 80th birthday celebration here last evening. We reserved the party room which was great for the 25 of us.
The food and service was outstanding. My husband and I had the Gent's bacon wrapped fillet mignon with 2 sides. The steak was so tender and grilled to perfection. The only thing missing is they were out of peanut butter pie, which I was looking forward to trying. Can't wait to have another meal here.
