Not sure why this place isn’t ranked a 5 star because honestly it is! There must be a hater or two out there! Sincerely one of the best recommendations received from a friend who visited before me. My husband and I visited from Pennsylvania and it was a delight to come across this place. Haley our waitress was amazing so attentive and helpful with the menu. She was right everything was perfect for sharing. The food the food the food, I don’t say this very often because honestly it’s embarrassing to share, I cried over this meal, which if you’ve never cried over food your probably not a real foodie like I am. With that being said, just make a reservation even if it’s a month away like we had to anticipate, it’s worth every bit.

Wonderful dining experience. There is an industrial, modern yet intimate vibe here with the dim lighting. We came during restaurant week and it was very busy but we were seated within 30 minutes. Our server was phenomenal and knowledgeable about all menu items including the variety of drinks. He helped us select the best option for our taste and even had recommendations. We ordered wine and a number of small plates to share. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. We were the last ones out at the end of the night!

We had an amazing evening at Girl & The Goat, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect.

So glad I was able to get a reservation, even if it was at the bar. Omar was a fantastic server! He informed me I could order "mini" portions of some items since I was a single diner. I ordered the green beans, goat empanadas, roasted pig face and salmon poke. All were full of flavor and had unexpected twists to them. Omar recommended the strawberries and cream semifreddo for dessert, and I can honestly say I've never had anything like it! Creative and delicious! The perfect ending! Outstanding experience!

The food was phenomenal. We ordered the green beans (and it is an absolute MUST...just trust me on this), halibut, pork face, empanadas, and the praline brownie (that's the pic of the empty bowl....it looked so delicious that we dug in and forgot to take a picture). Everything was delicious. All the flavors were very well thought out and every dish was so well rounded. This meal was, hands down, the highlight of our Chicago trip.

The meal was fantastic and unique. We tried the chickpea fritters, the empanadas, the goat belly and the pork shank. All the dishes were very well balanced with the sides and garnishes. Love the use of mints and acidic components to cut through some of the rich meats on the dish. Cocktails were great too. Overall, a memorable dining experience.

By far the best dining experience we’ve had. Haley our waitress was phenomenal. We were lucky enough to be seated at the pass where we watched the kitchen do their magic.

The food: naan and dips was amazing, full of flavor. The chickpea fritter was light and delicious, the poke so fresh and unique.

Had a fantastic experience at Girl and the Goat last night! The food was absolutely incredible – every dish was a burst of flavor and creativity. Our waiter was fantastic too – super knowledgeable about the menu and passionate about the food, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. And let's not forget the drinks – they were the perfect complement to the meal.

LOVED IT!!! Girl and the Goat absolutely deserves its Michelin Bib Gourmand award. It's the perfect spot for a girls' night out or a special date night – the atmosphere is lively and fun, the food is top-notch, and the service is impeccable. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience, look no further!

We attended with a group of 5 and from the reservation being made to leaving, the service was great. They were quick to respond by text and accommodate changes. Leah our server had great recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was outstanding - highly recommend the asparagus, the green beans, the pork shoulder and the halibut. All have interesting flavor profiles.

I wouldn’t necessarily say I have a sophisticated palate, so I was nervous about joining my friends at this reservation, but I was told it was a must try.

When I tell you this was one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. I can’t even explain how delicious everything was.

Go in expecting to pay at least $250 because you need to try at least 9 dishes for 4 people. Simply incredible.

We visited during the restaurant week where they had a 6 course prefix menu. The food was awesome, service was fast, staff were very welcoming and friendly.
The dishes are shareable, basically its a shareable menu concept.

This is an incredible dining experience. So much food I would have never thought I would like. Flavors were layered and every bite was amazing. The pork shank was so tender it came apart with a fork. The shrimp salad was so good it had sweet it had heat and the shrimp were blackened and served warm. The roasted pig face was so tender and delicious I never would have tried it on my own. The salmon poke was excellent as was the roasted asparagus. The crispy short ribs were great perfectly crispy outside and melt in your mouth. First time trying goat in the empanadas and I would have thought it was beef a must try. Dessert was a chocolate bar with basil ice cream definitely something different. The tres leches cake was very good too. This restaurant is a great experience with an awesome menu and delicious food. Worth the wait for a reservation.

Definitely lived up to the hype. Everything was amazing. Crabby BBQ Pork Belly and Crispy Short Ribs were a stand out. We got five plates for 2 people and it was plenty.

This place is awesome!! The food is so well made and the flavors are complex and delicious. The poke is one of my absolute favorites! The vibe is cozy too and they have good cocktails and non alcoholic options too. I can't wait to go back again and try more items!

Literally amazing. I went to Girl & The Goat for my birthday dinner and it was phenomenal. The food was delicious and our server was extremely kind and helpful. I’ve heard about Girl & the Goat for a long time and I am so mad at myself for not eating here sooner! The food? AMAZING. The service? Impeccable, we had to wait for one dish (we didn’t even realize how much time passed because it was just a great experience and they brought us free dessert!). The drinks? Let’s just say we had every drink and second rounds of course. The only drink we weren’t a big fan of was “kind of a big dill” and the one that surprised us the most was how good the “bring the beet back” was! If you’re looking for one thing to try it has to be the green beans! Strange thing to recommend, they’re just green beans right? WRONG, they’re the best thing I’ve ever had. Girl & the goat never disappoints! We’ve been several times and most recently to celebrate Orthodox Christmas. The service and the food are always top notch , those flavors are mind blowing! They have great cocktail cart and wine selection or mocktails.

Insanely good. Exceeded expectations. The service was great, atmosphere was dark and a little romantic but balanced the noise as it got loud sometimes since it’s a big space. The food! The hamachi crudo was incredible. The oysters and pork belly, divine. Can’t wait to return and try out more.
