Country Bend Campground

We used to be “weekenders”, my hubby and myself. We love this place so much that we decided to become seasonal campers. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE Kate and Jeff and the entire staff and family. They go above and beyond for EVERYONE!! They will try their best to accommodate you. Since they have taken over this place is leaps and bounds what it used to be. There is always something for all ages to do. We recommend Country Bend to everyone we know who likes to camp.

This was our first time at Country Bend. We brought our camper and some friends stayed in tents. The site was spacious and easy to back in and get set up. Very clean. It was the hottest weekend of the year but we still had a blast. So much to do at the campground. The pool was clean and perfect for the hot weekend. We will be back!

The cabin was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. We were with a group, some camping and some in cabins, and were all very close together so that made it especially nice. Many thanks to the owners who refunded our son's money after they had the issue with ants. That is GREAT customer service and we were very impressed!

We've been coming here for 3 yrs. Hands down the best place you'll find anywhere near! As a full timer, I've seen my share, and Country Bend is 100% my fave place to be and to bring my family! Kate & Jeff go above and beyond to ensure their guests are comfortable and have fun! No doubt they make sure that everyone is safe, and any problems are dealt with swiftly, so the fun never ends!
I'm not sure where to begin about how beautiful and well maintained this magnificent piece of utopia is, but the pics don't do it justice. This place rocks!!!
Easy access hookups. Great fishing, peaceful, my glittles love the jumping pillow! Lots to do while breathing in nature at its best 👌

A definite can't miss!!!

The pool was well kept. The sites are not level but nothing that a “leveler” can’t fix. The sites are clean and the tables were nice. Great place to stay for a long weekend! So much land to get a long run in or biking while on vacation!! The bridges were so fun for the kids. Don’s IGA is not far away and that place was so clean!

This is a beautiful well kept campground with many amenities for the family! Everyone was super friendly & helpful!

PSA: this has nothing to do with the campground but there is a train that runs very close to site 117 and it went through 5 times between 10pm and 5am laying on the train horn, again I know this is out of the control of the campground but just want others who may be light sleepers like me to be aware! We would definitely stay here again but at the opposite end of the campground!

We only spent one night at Country Bend but we found the camp ground to be very attractive, quiet and restful, and very well maintained. Unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy any of the amenities but we hope to return and stay a little longer so we can explore the grounds more. We would definitely recommend Country Bend for someone passing by or for someone looking for a fun place to stay.

Country Bend Campground is definitely a great place to camp. Friendly staff and well maintained. We stayed in cabin 4 which is steps from the pond. My children enjoyed fishing, paddle boats, mini golf, bounce pad and lots of room for Pokémon hunting. Definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Beautiful. Peaceful. Quiet. Except for a periodic train. This is a very nice campground with cabins, ponds and lots of stuff for kids to do: pool, playground, paddle boats, fishing, mini golf. We were in a nice two bedroom cabin.

We camped there. It was close to home. Very clean and well maintained. I would like to see a bathroom option by the pool as well as a clock by the pool. The 2 housekeepers I interacted with were beyond kind and helpful. Definitely will stay again.

We had the BEST time at Country Bend! We have a 2, 3 and 4 year old and we had lots of shade and were able to utilize everything offered. The addition of the jumping pillow was a huge hit! We utilized the paddle boats and the putt putt golf was great as well! This is one of our favorite places to stay each camping season and schedule at least 3 trips each year! We will be back in a month :)

Family friendly campground. Very clean. Lots of activities. Very nice, friendly, accommodating staff. Safety is a priority as well. Country Bend is a gated campground. Always a great time.

I decided to stay 2 days April 13 and 14 2023. I research the area and campground to make sure it fits my needs. I travel in my custom class b van and usually stay at discounted rv parks or campgrounds. There were none in this area and I wanted to stay in Litchfield. Joyce was very helpful and courteous. I met Kate and she was very pleasant. The park was awesome. It was clean and organized. When I read the reviews, I couldn't believe people would bash them. I highly recommend this campground and will visit again despite no discounts.

This is our second time staying at Country Bend and it is so nice, clean restrooms and showers, lovely campground with plenty of activities to do during your stay. There are plenty of fish to be caught out of the ponds. Campsites are spacious and if you have a golf cart bring it or rent one there. Family stayed in the cabins which were on the ponds and very clean. We will definitely be back!!

We had a great time at Country Bend. We stayed in a cabin, which was basic but nice. We were there with family and friends and it couldn't have been a better place to gather! There were several kids ranging in age from 2-14. It was fun for them, too! We'll be back!

Loved this place and enjoyed our stay in our cabin. The owners are very nice and they even joined us for a drink at our campfire. Jeff and his wife were super friendly we cant wait to come back. Got to fish, clean, and cook our catch the same night. Pretty relaxing weekend other than watching that lady fly up the hill and almost kill Jeff on his tractor. Glad he was ok. We felt much safer after she was escorted out by the very calm and friendly deputy (that she was also very rude towards) Anyways, loved our trip, See you in late May and early June!

Went camping at country bend camp ground just outside litchfield for the third or four time now this summer. Got another group of people to come this time and as I have in the past we all had a great time . Thank you to the whole crew at country bend

Nice campground. Has 4 fishing lakes and swimming pool. Lots to do and nice campsites.

The new owners of this place, have really turned it around. They are super friendly! They have a lot of long sites, and a good number of pull through sites. Most sites have new rock! Bathrooms are nice, the Showers are Really nice and roomy! They have an all new Putt Putt golf 18 hole that is fun! All the people that I have met are really nice! I would recommend to everyone! Pool, Rec hall, mini Golf, fishing, basket ball, sand volleyball, and more..
