Huddle House

Food came out fast and prices are excellent. $8 for all this food (with coupon). This place is WAYYY better than Route 138 cafe, their server has an attitude AWALYS. Here at Huddle House the service was incredible.

Food and service were both great! Servers were all very friendly. Great options on a few meal deals if you're price conscious.

1st off I'm a huge waffle house fan and they don't have a Huddle house in Galveston so I was excited to go here. I expected it to be pretty good and it did not disappoint. The food was great came out hot the waitresses were very very busy but on top of their game.
The only thing I missed was the chance to watch the cooks in action which I love about the waffle house , other than that this place was great.

I went with a group of my friends, I wanna say there was 7 of us total. Our drinks stayed full and our server was terrific. Slowly but surely my friends got their food. I sat there awaiting my own. I soon realized I was the last to get my food. I sat there pondering my existence. Had I done something wrong? Had I put my hair up funny? Why must I sit and watch my friends devour their food like savages whilst I await my own? Then my server appeared. A true godsend. He walked over and sat my food in front of me and I don't think I've ever wanted to inhale my food before. I thanked him, I'm not sure if he knew but I will forever look at that server like God himself. I devoured the food and it was scrumptious.

The food was great and the service was good. Nothing against the service just nothing spectacular about the service

Bacon eggs grits sourdough all was fine I took my 1hr truck driver break had a late breakfast all good truck parkin across the street

Despite my Aunt owning the restaurant, I have never had a bad meal there.

I enjoy this particular Huddle House. The staff have been on board for a long time. They know their customers and they know how to greet their new ones. It's always clean and, of course, smells great. The food and service have always been excellent and appreciated.

Everything was good, but that's 100% where people go to have their last meal. Like... I know 90% of those customers passed away, and I won't see them again 👀😐👀😅

Stopped to get gas and take a rest stop break. Figured I needed food. Saw the huddle house and immediately drove over after getting gas. It sounded a lot better than Denny's. Very clean outside/parking spots were open and clean. LOVED the day Lilly's outside. Came in and it was a sit wherever you like. The whole menu was available all day everyday. I'm from AR so I had to ask how sweet the peach tea was due to not liking overly sweetened teas. It's sweetened with the peach syrup and made with unsweetened tea and the waiter Alex gave the option of being made with sweet tea. It was perfect as made. Immediately saw the breakfast menu and automatically picked the loaded hash browns. 100% would get and recommend to anyone. the hot sauce option (though I'm kinda picky about my hot sauces) added just the right heat to my platter. Over all felt comfortable, the staff was friendly and seemed to know people on a friendship level. It was very comforting as an out of towner. 10/10 would go back. Also taxation is theft so always tip your waiters/waitresses and would recommend cash tips for this reason.

We were passing through on our way to Chicago from St Louis, and had the best waiter. I think his name was Alex, he was so good, he constantly came to our table and sure we were ok and if one us a problem with our order, he quickly resolve it. If there were more than 5 stars 🌟 I would give him 10.

Everybody was nice and welcomed us in, Our server was super nice and took great care of us. Restaurant was very clean (And the bathroom!), Food was fresh and tasty, prices were fair. Perfect road trip stop for food.

Able to order right away and no wait. Everyone was very friendly. Very clean and food was very reasonably priced and tasted great. We will definitely go again!
