T & G Gyros

The place is super affordable and kept very clean. The people who work here are so nice and friendly! The food comes out fast and fresh. The fries were cooked perfectly. They have a good dining area and bathroom available. They do not deliver, but you can order through Uber Eats or Grub hub for delivery.

This place is a Blue Island staple! This place has been around for generations. The chicken sandwiches and the mozzarella sticks are the bomb. The staff is really friendly and the food is delicious. A must to try in Blue Island.

T&G is one of my favorite restaurants in the City of Blue Island! I seriously have yet to eat anything here that I can say is bad. The grilled chicken Caesar salad is phenomenal, so is the grilled ham and cheese sandwich, the grilled chicken sandwich is great, their subs are good. Like I said, you really can't go wrong with anything here. The service is relatively quick, the place is clean, and you can just look at the ingredients in the food prep area and tell that they are extremely fresh! I would recommend this place to anyone! If someone would say, well there has to be something negative about the place, it would probably be that they don't have any desserts when I get a sweet tooth.

Great place to eat fast food in Blue Island. This place has been around for years! The food is good and staff is friendly.

I think it was odd there isn't a chicago style hot dog on the menu but I was able to add sport peppers and celery salt for just a few cents. It costs $0.25 for a small or $0.35 for a large cup of water, I presume this is to cover the cost of the cup but that is still unusual. Other than those small nitpicks the fries were fresh, perfectly cooked and the hot dogs were great. The sport peppers were very hot which was nice as well!

T & G Gyros is the number 1 Blue Island staple you should have tried by now. The food is absolutely stunning, for fast food is amazing and really fast. It was recommended by employees and local citizens to try this place and was told the price was reasonable. By now i have tried every single thing in the menu but my first time order was the big baby, a burger with a drink and fries. i always go with number one on every single new restaurant i go and to try their signature dish and of course it was delicious. next time i came back i order myself the gyro platter, fries and a drink and wow, that was my first time trying a gyro and let me tell you it was so mouthwatering. I told myself that the price was pretty average until I got the dish.. the gyro was huge!! Very generous is portions and the gyro was full of meat. since then i always get the fries. they are so addicted. i always see myself coming back for more Definitely worth the money and it was very tasty. Very good and very nice service, the people working there are so friendly and amazing. I will definitely come back, because i have been coming back for the last past year

My first time ever eating here. I ordered two Italian beef & sausage combos with fries. Service was fast, they were a nice size & tasted GREAT!!! Will be going back.

Came here on a recommendation from my fiance who grew up in Blue Island. We got the Gyro plate, and the portion was large enough for the 2 of us. The thing that impressed me the most was the inclusion of a small block of feta cheese! I've never been served a gyro with feta cheese before.

So far I have gotten the gyro, it was packed with meat and sauce. Lots of onions if that is your thing. Service was super fast and again it was almost too much meat which was a good thing.

I've lived in Blue Island for 13yrs.,so I have been there many times. I love the gyros, and the big baby. I would like to try the chili and tamale. Are the tamales homemade? Are they TomTom? How about the chili? Homemade, canned, beans, no beans?

This place is just awesome! This is my go to place for my lunch break. I like to call in my order because they are SUPER fast with having my order ready in about 10 minutes! The staff if always friendly to every customer, both new and returning faces! I recommend their Big Baby special for any burger lover! It's nothing extremely special, but it does have a great taste! Out of my 4 years of finding out about this place, they have only messed up my order maybe 3 times. And it was nothing too crazy, just maybe some missing sauces. But other than that, I highly recommend this place for fast, friendly service!

Good food, great people!

Been going to this place over 25 years and it's still good food. Gyros are great and it's one of the few places that actually give you feta cheese with it. The King Subs are a bargain and still a great price. Fast and friendly service make this a favorite place to stop.
