Fox Theatre

The people were really friendly and the $11 ticket large drink and large popcorn deal is really good. Refills are a $1.00. Went and saw the sound of freedom. Chairs were a little uncomfortable but I'd go see a movie there again.

I think it's nice that the theatre in FM is back open. I was home for the holidays and came to see the new Star Wars movie. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, ticket price was good at $9 with popcorn and drink included, and I really liked the cool X-wing Fighter prop outside. Hope to come back soon.

The activities department from the Birkwood Village of Ft. Madison, had the great honor to rent part of the theater today for a few of our residents. They were able to enjoy a fantastic movie. Thank you so much for giving us that opportunity. May your theater be Blessed.

This is one of my favorite Theaters. We visit every year when we come for vacation. Hannah was a rock star. She was the only one working and there was a line out the door and she was quick and polite. There was another guy working Friday night when we went and he was so happy and cheery. I just love this place.

Unique place! Well kept, comfortable seats. Affordable night (or afternoon) out! Staff is very nice and accommodating! I recommend!

Nice movie theatre, very small but adequate. It is now the closet theatre since Keokuk's shut down so it's this one or driving to Quincy/Burlington. It had 2 movie options when we came. You can buy tickets w consession options online or just the tickets in person, very affordable. We went on a Saturday night and wasn't charged more because it was a prime evening. In St. Louis is would be $13 for a weekend show in the evening per person. The staff was friendly. We enjoyed the movie. It was not full either so no rush to buy online. This is a good, small local theatre for movie night options.

I love this place. The movies are recent and the prices don’t gouge out a car payment from your wallet, just to take the family to a movie.

The seats may not be like one of those new fangled theaters have but they are comfortable.
Popcorn is always fresh too. The kids there are always friendly and charming.

Nice little theater, you get a drink and popcorn with your ticket all at a great price. Save a bunch and just as good movie experience as the bigger, more expensive theaters.

Building on the other reviews, this theater is a gem from the past. Affordable ticket price includes drink and popcorn. The staff are super friendly: comes into theater and welcomes you, then hands out mints on the way out. Don’t expect football field sized screens and 24 movie choices, as this is an older, two screen theater. Worth the experience nonetheless.

My old childhood theater may not have the newest speakers, but still is the best movies and popcorn deals you will ever find. Fun for the whole family.

Brought my daughter out on a rainy Saturday afternoon and was not expecting The Fox to be so busy... but I was thrilled to see it! The guy and gal working the counter were helpful, patient and thorough with each family despite the crowd of people. So refreshing and NICE to have this positive experience. Cannot say enough positive things about our Fort Madison movie theater! The owners of this establishment should be very proud.

For the price you get your ticket, drink, and popcorn and you can upgrade to large drink and popcorn if you want and they have refills for .50 or is a $1 I can't remember but it's still better than the bigger theaters.

Since they have reopened the theater it has been truly a gathering place for the community. It's a pleasure to be able to watch current movies. One if the best parts is you get a pop and popcorn with the purchase of your ticket. $8.00 for a 20 oz. drink and a medium popcorn. $10.00 for a 32 oz. drink and large popcorn. Refills are a buck and candy is $2.00.

They may be small but, they are mighty. Only two screens for movies but they keep it fresh, friendly, and personable. Added benefit the most you will spend per person is $10. That gets you movie, large Pop, and popcorn. A little extra if you want candy. We will go here first every time if they have a movie we want to see.

Super small theater that only shows two movies at a time but one of the coolest experience you can have. If you’re looking for an old time movie theater or just need something to do in this town. This theater has the best deal I’ve seen. 8-10 dollars for the movie and you get a free popcorn and drink. Staff was super friendly and I enjoyed the atmosphere.

First visit here. Went to a early afternoon showing of Avengers: Infinity War with my daughter. Nice theater and very helpful staff! I'm on crutches (shattered my ankle) and the employee running the register helped carry our popcorn and helped us to a seat in the crowded theater (the movie had started 10 mins before we arrived}. The price of both tickets, drinks, and popcorn was $16 +tax, so, very reasonable!

So affordable and fun. It's a clean theater and has great employees!

They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to insure we had a great time at the movies. The food service was fast and the employees were friendly. The theater is a little outdated, but the prices were amazing!

I give 5 stars for this reason. A young couple has begun to renovate a neglected old movie house. They have done a good job. Nice chair, excellent audio and 8 bucks gets you in and with a complimentary popcorn and soft drink.
