It was a crappy, rainy, wet day but we headed out to explore the Homestead. Living and visiting a little over an hour from Annie Oakley's old stomping grounds, it seemed fitting we see Buffalo Bill's. My husband and I were the only people visiting so we had the self-guided tour to ourselves. A lovely lady that lives on the property came out in the snow to let us have a look around. Thank you! It was interesting and the view is amazing. I can only imagine how it looked over 100 years ago. What a beautiful property. If you're in the area, go check it out! Great history!

Great place to know about the childhood of Buffalo Bill Cody and his family. Fully restored home and a small gift shop to include his history. Farm next to his home has Buffalo and you could view them when they're out in pasture.

I absolutely love this place! The lady that watches the place is so nice. We've been there twice and we'll keep going back. Anyone who is familiar with Buffalo Bill must go here. The ride there is beautiful and the house and grounds are amazing.

It was fun. I felt dumb because I couldn't figure out what a "walnut sill" was until hours later. Lol!
