La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Wausau

The rooms are very nice and well kept. New breakfast area was exceptionally nice. Selection of breakfast items need to be improved. Some food items were cold when I went to eat at about 7:30. Check in experience was not friendly and did not give attention to customer. I hope to see improvement when I stay the next time.

We didn’t stay here but we came to get our commemorative coin for visiting the 45x90 geographical marker. The lady at the front was super happy to see us visit and was interested to know where we were from and wanted us to sign the registry. Super pleasant experience

Great very clean pool at a very nice temperature you can actually swim in and get out of the pool with your bones and body not hurting from cold water. The hot tub awesome very nice and clean. I love it there.

I stayed overnight due to bad weather when I commute to work. The manager (Joe I believe his name was) came out in the morning with me to help get my car unstuck from all the snow, for at least 30 minutes. he was so kind and I didn’t even have to ask. The room was also clean and quiet. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and up to date. They have a hot breakfast but I didn't show up in time, I slept in. Checking in and out was fast and friendly.

La Quinta Inn in Wausau Wisconsin was one of THE BEST experiences we've had at a hotel EVER. They were able to book us a room very last minute and were able to accommodate our dog as well, they are very straight forward with pet fees and were one of the few TRUE dog friendly hotels we could find that didn't have hidden rules. The rooms were very clean and so were the pool and hot tub! This hotel has got it going on with it's awesome location, cleanliness, and the AMAZING STAFF (Thank you Joe, Nick, Buck, Kat, Susan, and Therese) it was so refreshing to see their smiling faces and having friendly conversations as we would pass.. it truly is the little things that make it SOO much better. This hotel is going to be our go to when we make our trips up there and I think it should be yours too!!

We traveled with 20 kids for a basketball tournament, our rooms were very clean and updated. Upon arrival Susan the General Manager was absolutely amazing. She allowed us to use the breakfast area so we could unload the coolers and eat together. she was very kind in so many ways. We were treated so nicely. We will definitely stay again next year.

Great hotel if you're looking for convenience of location and a clean, comfortable and quiet room. The value for the price was excellent. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff. The check in process was fast and we got the exact type of room we had reserved. Although this property is obviously an older building, everything appeared to be well maintained. The room had newer carpeting, and the bed and bedding provided a comfortable nights sleep. There was complimentary breakfast in the morning which was well stocked with fresh items and very clean. The kitchen staff even made fresh waffles for the guests and brought them to your table. The pool area was small but clean and well maintained. Overall a very nice place to stay.

I really never give 5 stars to hotels cause there is always something not working or trashed but this establishment had great renovation work done, beautiful bathrooms and room,, great rates, great location from downtown area and easily a doz. Food places to use minutes away. Clean thru out, great pool and hot tub OPEN TILL 11 PM. Breakfast still on virus setting but great staff and a very comfortable atmosphere. Seriously is close to everything. Other hotel chains should follow this establishments operation. Can't beat their rates for the quality you get.

We had a great experience at this Hotel! Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Very warm pool that was perfect for our daughter and an actual Hot hot tube. Booked through hotels tonight for less then$100 the staff helped me upgrade my room to 2 beds once we arrived. I would definitely stay here next time we are in town.

The breakfast was more than adequate. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable as well. The shower had nice water pressure as well as a good temperature. The people were friendly. For the price it's a nice place.

Damian and Therese were amazing. Damian especially put his hospitality to shine, and was a utter delight to work with. I had one negative experience pertaining to one of the hotel worker in my room rooting through my stuff which was jaw dropping but I was at least able to have my phone found when she went into the room the 2nd time. But Damian and Therese were very professional and helpful in resolving the situation would still go back they are amazing people to work with.

Extremely friendly and attentive staff!! Very clean, spacious, and comfy rooms. Very nice pool and whirlpool. Delicious full hot breakfast, we loved the fresh waffles, fruit, eggs, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, and variety of beverages provided.

Our family loves La Quinta Inns! Whenever we travel it's the first hotel we seek to stay at. Always Clean, comfy, and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast bar, and very friendly staff. Thank you La Quinta for always being there for us when we travel! 🥰

Rooms had been remodeled since last stay. The pool area is nice. Even though it was packed when we stayed it was quiet in our room, for a good night sleep.

Only thing I didn't like was the actual room door. If not closed completely it beeps at you til you make sure it is. Other than that nice friendly helpful staff. And very relaxing quiet hotel.

The room was great. We had a king bed and it was so comfortable. I can't wait to stay there again. The pool was also wonderful. The water was warm and the hot tub was perfect.

Was nice, stayed for two nights on a very busy weekend. Rooms are fine. Hot tub could be a wee bit hotter though IMO.

Perhaps the best bed on our 28 day adventure. The pandemic has spoiled breakfast, but that's not La Quinta's fault. It was very clean and everyone was very helpful.

Didn't plan to stay in town but J. at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Very large king bed for the price, good desk for working on, breakfast goes until ten.
