Bryan Memorial Park

Nice park, play ground, picnic shelters, dog park, walking/running trails in park and just behind hospital by lake is woodland hiking/walking/running trail, U-DISC coarse 18 holes, sand volley ball court, ect. In town so close to stores and restuarants.

A huge park with multiple areas for kids and adults of all ages. A disc golf course, pool, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, skate park, and plenty of pavilions. Went for Pokémon Go community day and caught plenty of Pokémon with multiple stops that had lures on (thank you)! I also found what is about to be a monster chicken of the woods mushroom & left it behind, hoping a forager finds and uses it!

It is a very nice place. Salem is lucky to have such a nice place for all family members to go and enjoy.

Park offers ampitheater, pool access, tennis, picnic, multiple playgrounds, and viewing of Bryan Statue with a history lesson and a horticultural delight.

This is a fantastic park for families, relaxing, walking the dog just about anything you can think of park wise; including picnics. I believe the six close time is for the amazing pool. This pool has water slides like you would expect to find at a waterpark! The GPS takes you just short of the main event. You end up thinking that you're disappointed. Go ahead and keep on going down about a quarter of a mile and you'll see the real deal! It has several sets of playgrounds good for everything from Toddlers up to older children. The trees among the parkland are absolutely gorgeous, complemented by both covered and uncovered picnic tables. Dog friendly and kid friendly. If you're traveling, it's a short, less than 10 minute drive off I-57. It's a perfect place if you're going to bring the kids to get some running out, and maybe have a dinner or lunch. Throw a blanket down on the ground and join a book, or just take a relaxing walk with your dog.

We have a reallly nice park to enjoy,from swimming pool, baseball field , basketball courts,tennis courts, sand volleyball area,skate park, discs golf , several picnic shelters,updated restrooms and 3 different playground locations, plus a reallly nice walking area with different workout machines in several areas along the walking trail.Also a nice small lake.

🤯 Everything they've done there is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! BEAUTIFUL play ground!!! Had my daughter and 3 nieces and family there and there was so much to do and so much to play with.

The new playground is great for ALL age groups and is also handicapped accessible and have special toys... there's b ball, a skate park, waking trails, multiple parks, and EVEN A POOL!!!! We go every chance we get and love ❤ it!!!!

Has a nice hiking trail. The kids love bank fishing in the reservoir. The playground equipment has been updated and the pool is amazing. There are pavilions available to rent for parties too. Love this park!

Yes, the park isn't in perfect shape everywhere, but I must say it is definitely 5 stars for Southern Illinois. A park in a town with 7000 inhabitants, that has well kept tennis courts, baseball diamonds, skate park, basketball court, pool, frisbee golf and a playground. The playgrounds are nicely shaded and in the summer there is a nice cool breeze that make even the Illinois hot summer days bearable.

A nice, clean park to take your kids or your dog. City of Salem does a great job at keeping their city nice. Which is a wonderful change of pace after growing up in Centralia.

Beautiful park that is absolutely full of things to do. Waterpark, skatepark, tennis courts, two playgrounds, one specialized for children with handicaps, workout equipment, trails, sand volleyball, disk golf, picnic areas, softball diamond, dog park, and more. A+++

Bike trails are wonderful for beginners to intermediate riders. Single track style trails with roots, tight trees, ditches and a few blind turns. Some places tend to hold water after a good rain and thorns try to reclaim the trails quickly. There are some smaller hills that will need to be timed right to pedal up completely. There are also a few smaller jumps if you see them coming and set up for them. Watch out for people walking on the trails and broken glass.

My favorite of all the parks I've been to.. my childhood wouldn't be the same. Without this place.

I really enjoy walking here! Sadly there is so much trash. I think it would benefit if there were more trash cans throughout the trails maybe then less people would litter. Other than that i go here to find all different plants and animals and i usually collect fallen things and I try to pick up some of the trash I just always forget gloves.

Nice park, good location. The activities like Apple Fest, Family Fun Day, and the Farmers' market are great. Lots of good playground equipment, frisbee golf course, and nice walking paths and pavilions.
