Furchild

Been looking for a new groomer for our dogs for quite some time and have tried several places in the area without finding one we liked. The search is over. Julie and Ellen are great. Super friendly and informative. Great washing stations, treats, and accessories, but most of all, CLEAN! Highly recommended.

I have three dogs that require grooming and supplies. Furchild has been amazing. The friendly staff really seems to love and care for our furry family members. My dogs are really happy there and respond excitedly to the attention they receive from the staff. We were getting grooming services from another place in town and services there always seemed very rushed. My dogs seemed anxious when going to the other place. So we gave Furchild a chance. That was the best decision we could have made for our fur-babies. I honestly believe that Furchild is about the dogs --- not the dollar. They know my dogs and accommodate their unique personalities. Because they care, I truly believe they want what's best for our pets. The owner is very knowledgeable and has also provided great information to our family. I highly recommend Furchild.

Thank you Julie! We would be lost without you and your service! We adopted a 16 month Rottweiler that needed much support. Thanks to Julie, we got Zevon into training and got him socialization. After 5 years, we go there every 4 weeks to have his nails trimmed. She has a calming influence on him! We have learned much from her about his breed and are so grateful. Thank you for your kind and caring approach to our big boy!

Furchild is fantastic. They got us in for a puppy trim same-day, the staff was great, and the service was top-notch. I will come back for everything I possibly can.

The staff are always so friendly, helpful, and sweet to my dogs. I have been going for a little over a year now to get nail trimmings mostly and recently groomings. I have nothing but praise for the work they do. Will be continuing to take mu dogs here

The place was great. Greeted by a pleasant woman and her doggie. Apparently weekends require a schedule for a bath, but she was awesome and squoze us in. Overall, it was a great experience, and we will be back. The only downside is if you are using the baths and have a large dog that you need to lift. There is no step up or assisted device to get them in the bathing area. You just need to wrestle 85lbs+ up there

I always take my 2 beagles here to get their nails trimmed and I love it!!! The staff are ALWAYS super nice and my dogs are super comfortable. It’s great to take them to a place that really takes care of them. Thank you so much!

They are very good and fast at their job. Bath tubs are always clean. The staff is friendly.

Where from Michigan and wanted to stop in a random pet store. The lady that help me and my girlfriend with a pinch collar was amazing. Showed us the correct way to use it and my gf feels comfortable being able to walk out Husky.

We get our dog’s nails trimmed once a month. It’s always quick and easy. The shop is full of cute things for your fur child.

Great selection of food , leashes, collars , sweaters , rain coats and toys . Julie and her staff are friendly and knowledgeable .

We came here today for the first time and had a great experience! We used the grooming station- all the supplies were provided, including a dryer. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We even found some great solutions to take home to help our dog’s bad breath and anxiety. They give a discount for nurses, military, and first responders. We will definitely be back!

My girl Macy and I made our first trip to Furchild today for a Sunday Fun Day spa experience. I can't think of going anywhere else now. Julie was so kind and patient with my pup who struggles with nail trims. The young man who greeted us was wonderful as well explaining how everything would work. Thank you all for a wonderful experience!

This place is the best! They have self dog washing stations to wash your dog at, they have all kinds of food, treats and toys! If they don’t have it, the owner will order it! She also can trim your dogs nails, so say goodbye to high salon prices. The owner is EXTREMELY kind and caring, and very knowledgeable. She truly cares about each dog and cat that comes through the door. Forget the chain pet stores, spend your money here. It’s a better experience and you get better stuff! I love this place, and I will no longer go anywhere else!

Omg! This store is amazing! So many great treats to choose from, it’s like a lovely little dog boutique.
Julie is the owner and she is the sweetest most knowledgeable person! Her mom Ellen is wonderful too! This place has two tubs you can bathe your pup, and they even do nail trims! Check this place out if you haven’t already!

The loveliest establishment and the friendliest customer service! She really cared about my newly rescued dog’s needs! I thought it was so cool for her to capture dog visitors with polaroids and hang them up on the wall. New favorite locally-owned store!

Great local pet store. Two best values are professional dog nail trimming and a self service dog bath area. Very passionate about pets. Also have a good diversity of pet supplies including treats, dog sweaters, leashes and others. Very social experience where you can meet other caring pet owners. Also downtown O’fallon is becoming a vibrant hub with new farmers markets and restaurants that are pet friendly so stopping by Fur Child makes for a complete day.

Julie is phenomenal! She makes nail trims a calm, easy, and fast process. No biting, growling, or muzzling! If you were taking a week to trim your dog’s nails like I was, try bringing your doggie diva to Furchild—you and your fur baby will be happier.
