Marathon County Park

Numerous little mini playgrounds, all ages can play on some, kiddos love it! There are pavilions for adults and areas to set up for parties, and it's a pretty park.
Stadium is very nice, the Monster truck show was a blast!!

Nice size-able park with plenty of large shade trees, seating, numerous playgrounds, and has more than enough to do in the area. Brand new playground was apparently built this year and has a ton of features others in the area do not. My kid had a blast here today. Will definitely be coming back.

Monster trucks were the show for today. Great family time at a great community event center.

Such a beautifully maintained park and close to shopping and restaurants. Very tall trees and generous shade. Thank you Marathon County!

Good for running, cycling and picnics. The concert set up was great too

This park in the heart of the city is so cool! Very easy to use and will accommodate RVs like ours! 30 AMP and water fill and flush were also close!

Loved going here when I was growing up. Great feeling to bring my own kids here and see them enjoying it as much as I did.

Whent to the art show and was surprised how large it was, as I was quite impressed on how big the show was as well as I enjoyed the food trucks as well

I love this park it's basically like central Park but for Wausau.

Such a beautiful park with so many trees. I love how much shade there is. The splash pad is a much loved activity for my kids and the new playground held their attention for several hours. The bathrooms are well-placed and I usually don't have any problems finding parking next to my desired activity.

Excellent park with lots for families to do. Splash pad, train and concession stand are a must with out little boy and they are very affordable. Playgrounds are scattered around the grounds and are kept clean.. He is super excited for the new one to be finished.

Beautiful place! Even though the restrooms were limited to one building in the park, there were bathrooms at the Holiday gas station just outside the entrance into the park. I loved the mature pine trees and the availability of picnic tables. Lots of parking spaces, walking trails, dog friendly place, and so much more! I will definitely go back again!

This park has a little of everything for the dog owner, family playground, and stays open late and well lighted for a safe feeling any day of the week. My Zoe gets so excited when we drive by and just has a pouty fit if we don't go in I love the walking Track around it and they keep it well maintained even in the winter.

There are 3 parks and ice cream shop and a little train

The playground equipment for junior kids was great! Would like to see the toddler area updated.
