So thankful for Redmond Funeral Home. They took great care of our loved one and our family. We didn’t know where to turn for help. Mr. Mcnabb and Mrs. Redmond were the answer to our prayers. Very helpful, kind and professional. Our loved one looked amazing and that allowed our family find comfort in this storm.

I must say when I was asked to write a review. I knew it was well worth it to let everyone know that this place is better than ever and Arthur is truly the best. I felt like family and not just another customer.

Our family has used the services of Redmond Funeral Home Kalamazoo and we have been extremely pleased with them. First of all their kindness in times of sorrow is appropriate and appreciated. They answered any questions we had and were discreetly in the area during visitation. The people here made every step through a difficult time easier.

Amazingly honest and unlike others in the area has pricing that is not absolutely extortionate for what was needed for my family. Art is a very nice and attentive director.

I was recently attended a funeral there and the body looked really good. The staff was very helpful and very professional. The building was clean inside and out.

No staff to direct me but the family was there. Cremation had taken place.

I'm so mad I have to rate this 1 star. If there were negative stars. Negative 20 would be my review. Lady literally just hung up in my face without saying a word. Someone get them out of business please.

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Redmond from start to finish. Our sympathies to anyone who has to deal with the delightful receptionist Grace. Clearly neither comforting the bereaved nor providing customer service are in her skillset. There is no attention to detail even when items are clearly spelled out. We spent days going back and forth trying to get them to process payment; they blamed the credit card machine, our bank, etc. It was very difficult. Their bread and butter is drafting obituaries but even after several drafts in person, the Final print was a grammatical nightmare. The funeral folder we approved was changed at the last minute (at their discretion) because they waited so long to print. To make matters worse they printed our father's date of death wrong - by a MONTH - on the front of the folder. When I approached Martha about this during the service she offered to send us a few corrected copies. This doesn't really rectify the fact that 100+ people received the typo version. We had several complaints from guests that their flowers did not arrive to the church. All in all, I would not send anyone we know to Redmond.

When grieving, the last thing anyone wants to deal with is crude and disrespectful employees that they're paying for at the funeral home. Employees here are allowed to use profanity and act openly frustrated when work is asked of them. It's no surprise why they have relentless poor reviews. With so many options in kalamazoo alone; save yourself the extra grief and trashy behavior by going to another, more respectful funeral home. Multiple reviews discuss the same gross employee and yet she still is there, raising her voice and avoiding work at all costs. Support a local place that respects human beings instead. Trust the MANY bad reviews and avoid her wrath of laziness.

I recently attended the funeral of a very good friend of mine held at this funeral home. This man was only 42 when he died. I have NEVER seen such a horrible job of preparing a body for viewing. He was gray and looked at least 60. It was so bad that people were warning others before they went up to view the deceased.

Perhaps they normally do a better job, but I will never consider using this company's services.

Horrible horrible horrible. Overcharged !!!!! Reported this funeral home to the Michigan Licensing Agency. Rude, unprofessional and unkind. Use any other funeral home other than Redmond's. I'm not the only one who has experienced the same problems. Please, whatever you do, don't use Redmond's. It is such a difficult time for a family without having to use a funeral home like this. Go anywhere else, just not Redmond's !!!!
