Luigi's is the real deal.
My Wife and I went there for lunch.
Such great hospitality and decor.
The pasta, sauces and desserts are all made fresh.
Can't wait to go back.
Y'all should definitely check them out.

If you are visiting La crosse , don't forget to pass Onalaska, and make a stop at this restaurant.

Coming here for a dinner, with someone special, and I liked the place, it met my expectations, because I am a difficult eater.

I recommend this restaurant, food with good flavor, very attentive, courteous, helpful staff with a smile and a good welcome from the moment you enter the entrance until you leave.

I visited Milwaukee for a summer weekend, I plan to return again to La crosse.

This place is a hidden gem Im glad we found. To start the service was excellent. Our waitress took her time and explained what everything was and even explained how some things were made. You can't go wrong going during happy hour the drinks on the menu were great! The food was delicious from the appetizer to dessert. We will be back and everyone needs to give this place a shot. Edit! Still awesome! Been going here for two years now and have never been disappointed. Even left with a full cake last time we visited.

My wife and I celebrated my Birthday with friends. We were a party of six. Nice atmosphere, family owned place. I had the lasagna and it was delicious. Good conversation, service and food.

Great Italian cuisine! The owner/cook was our server. He was incredibly friendly. They do have a lunch menu, and it wasn't that busy. It can get busy in the evenings though. Everyone enjoyed their orders. I saw people coming in just to buy dessert from the bakery case. I highly recommend coming here. Don't let the strip mall location fool you, it's a great place to eat!

Delicious food & great service. Don't remember the names of the food but salad had portobello mushrooms. The main course had tilapia with broccoli, zucchini, onions & other stuff. Their bread is delicious too. Want to go back & try their dessert, looks delicious. Pepsi products also wine & other drinks. Handicap parking & entrance

Highly recommend! The food and dessert was amazing. I could not decide what to order because I would have tried everything on the menu. Every dish my group ordered was delicious. Give this place a try it did not disappoint.

Very enjoyable lunch and our waiter was terrific. Large dining area. Next time we are doing dessert first as too full to have it after the meal. Love bread and dipping oil

My Girlfriend suggested this restaurant for our late lunch. I've never been there, BUT Everyone Should go here! We loved the Special s, so we chose both and shared to enjoy each of them. The presentation of our choices were like a 5 star restaurant! AMAZING, DELICIOUS, AND EVERYTHING IS HOMEMADE!! It Was One of the Most phenomenal dining experiences I have had in a Long time!! Had a wonderful experience at ll Luigis! I got the Rigatoni Alla Cindy and the sauce was delicious. The cream of mushroom soup was the best I have ever had! The service was great, I would definitely recommend checking this little gem out!

OMG!!! This was probably the best Italian dining experience I have had since, EVER! We had a 5 pm reservation for a group of 8 to celebrate the graduation of my son for his Master's. He picked Il Luigi's and we were extremely pleased with this choice. The food was outstanding and the service was also exceptional. Granted, Louise (sp?), the owner, waited on us. He was patient and super friendly. The dining area was spacious for us and not too loud in that we were able to converse and enjoy our entire time dining.

We learned that Louise' wife works in the kitchen and that she made most of the desserts seen in the front display case and these are professional looking, and tasting, desserts (check out the pictures). And the tarts were made by Louise himself and they looked just as delicious but I am getting ahead of myself.

We started with incredible, affordable, cocktails and enjoyed the fresh made focaccia bread with oil and balsamic vinegar. Did I mention that everything they make is made fresh from scratch? I had to limit myself to one rather large piece of bread but others in the group could not display the same willpower and opted for more.

Our meal selection was varied and not one of us duplicated another, thus allowing for a sampling of entrees to try. I ordered the Pollo Farcito and it is a meal I am still craving 2 weeks later. The lemon wine sauce was well paired with the flavors of the chicken and especially with the bed of potatoes that I would never have thought would make a great combination...but it was a savory delight.

Other entrees that pleased our group included the Fettuccine Dolce Vita with chicken, Penne Sicilian, Angolotti Del Magnifico, Rigatoni Alla Cindy, Lasagna Alla Bolognese, Risotto Al Tilly and Risotto Dolce Jenny ummm. I believe all but one or two plates were cleaned with the exception of the two who were too full and took the remainder home.

Despite being comfortably full, we were all determined to sample some shared desserts. When I say share, we still ordered 8 desserts. Chocolate Cannoli, Tiramisu, a fruit tart, and 5 pieces of cake. Oh, this was a great meal. We were done within 1 and 1/2 hours or just over. Very comfortable timing but 2 hours would have been better had we not been pressed for a Pinning ceremony.

To top off this culinary delight, the prices were very reasonable and downright fair. Our entrees, which did not include steaks or other more expensive seafood items - but even those topped out at $25 - ranged in price from the pasta dishes at $15.95 to the Pollo Farcito at $19.95. The Raspberry Ice tea was $2.99, domestic beers were $2, house wine $6.75, and my two Happy Hour Italian margaritas were only $9.90 for both.

Lastly, desserts: 5 cake pieces at $39.95 and the mini fruit tart at $12 and the Cannoli and Tiramisu at $7.95 each. In total, our entire meal for 8 was only $260, not including the tip. Keep in mind, this included 9 drinks, 8 entrees, and 8 desserts. This was a meal I was more than happy paying! Keep to drinking water and no dessert and you can still get a fantastic meal for under $20/person. I do not know if you can find quality food with these flavors anywhere else.

I am looking forward to visiting the area again and enjoying another excellent dining experience at Il Luigi's!

I kept reading "hidden gem" in the reviews and I must say, Yes. Yes, it is. The food and service (Ashley) was phenomenal. We not only enjoyed the great food but, as first time patrons we were lucky to learn alot about the owners and their passion and persistence in excellence. We are looking forward to returning soon. Recommend to everyone.

First time we ate here. Our waitress Sam was excellent. The food was delicious was serve hot. Tried 2 different desserts at our table. Very light and tasty. Would highly recommend. The owner came to our table and answered some questions we had. All bread and desserts made on site. I think we have found a new place to visit. Thank you.

Authentic, expertly crafted, and well-priced. It isn't the most upscale on the inside, but the food would make you feel otherwise. The wait staff is very kind and jovial, too.

Delicious food for Valentine's Day. Got to try deep fried zucchini flowers which I had never had before, stuffed with cheese and served with pesto and marinara. The veal and rigatoni bakes were also absolutely delicious

We live in the backyard of this hidden gem! We went on a Tuesday for date night and it was slow so we got specialized attention from our server and the food was prepared so quickly. We had drinks, bruschetta (pictured), shrimp tortellini, beef stroganoff, and a chocolate tres leches cake (pictured) and were blown away by it all. So delicious and we could tell it was all made from scratch. We are excited to take friends here and try other menu options. Highly recommend!

We are from out of town and were looking for authentic Italian food to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Luigis did not disappoint. In fact, it exceeded our expectations. The presentation was exquisite, the server was knowledgeable and informative, and the owner personally served our main course. The food was absolutely delicious and highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for authentic Italian food and drinks, with excellent service and all at a reasonable price. We wish IL Luigis was located in our own hometown of Vermilion, Oh.

What a nice surprise this was. A very nice restaurant in a strip center was unexpected, but it was excellent. The inside is nicely appointed, the service and food amazing. If you have not been here, you are missing out.
