Went last night for dinner! Great staff and atmosphere! Had the perch dinner, best perch I have had! Love the old cottage feel. Bobby was a wonderful bartender, Trish the owner was wonderful to talk to. Don't change a thing. We decided this is going to be our new place. We look forward to the Sunday Prime Rib!

We recently stumbled upon this hidden gem while searching for a last minute dinner spot, and it quickly became our new favorite place! The cozy cabin atmosphere, complete with vintage nostalgia, immediately captured our hearts. The dim candlelit ambiance and the option to cozy up by the fireplace during colder months added to the charm. The service was impeccable; the host/owner warmly welcomed us, allowing us to choose our own seating, and our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. The establishment boasts a rich history and offers a welcoming atmosphere for all. We were pleasantly surprised to find guitars adorning the walls, available for anyone to play, and were even treated to a serenade by one of the owners, who happens to be a musician. Despite the minor inconvenience of slightly sulfurous-tasting water, our overall experience was nothing short of delightful. This place truly is a hidden gem, offering not only delicious food but also a truly memorable dining experience. Will be back!!

The Wife and I Celebrated our Wedding Anniversary at your cozy Restaurant. Bobbie was our waitress. The service was impeccable and our meal was so very delicious. Love this place.
Certainly a destination place to visit. Seeing that we are from Spring Lake and have many different options around us. This is a go to place for us for sure.

What a wonderful cozy little place tucked in the channel and quaint as ever. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was very warm. We had warm greetings from the owners also! We will be back! Highly recommend for a cozy night out!

A gem of the area with superb service! I had the walleye, and I dare say it was THE best I have eaten in my entire life! Breading was PERFECT! Tried the perch, also very great! BEST tartar sauce I've ever had, now my standard! Cheese curds and salmon dip also fantastic!
If you're in the area, go here and NOT be disappointed!!! You owe it to yourself!!!

I wish I had taken pictures of the wonderful dinner we enjoyed. While our dinner was really very, very good, the experience, location, service and visit from the owner, we're outstanding. Well worth the ride from Grand Rapids.

Funny story, this was actually my first job 26 years ago as a dishwasher. Came back to town for my 40th birthday party and while taking the kids to the beautiful Lake Michigan Swim and Sunset, plus the magical Pigeon Hill to climb a couple times. We adults decided to dip into Old Channel Inn and have a Summer Shandy or three!

Cozy restaurant off the beaten trail. Fave for locals. It was good for a family dinner. Bar area nice too. Walk down the sandy trail to see the sunset over Lake Michigan. Pure Michigan secret spot!!

Incredible food and drinks! Their bartender Carson was excellent and made the best espresso martini I’ve ever had! We had the The Walleye, London Broil, calamari and a brownie sundae and it was the best I’ve had for everything. Their food is fresh and the atmosphere is great and laid back. We will absolutely be back again.

I had the walleye and it was perfect! Try the homemade bread pudding if you're not to full. Great service.

What a gem! Not only does the place have a really cool history, amazing food and a unique ambiance, but we met and had great conversations with the owners Eric and Trish, who were actively involved with the restaurant, extremely friendly and have high expectations for customer satisfaction. I had the prime rib that is served Sundays only. My wife had the salmon and flourless chocolate cake, all of which were delicious. We will definitely be back!

I always have the Classic Perch here and it is always the best fish I've ever had. Well worth the market price. If you're coming for dinner, especially on Prime Rib special day, come right when they open at 5pm or expect a little bit of a wait because this place is extremely popular.

What an amazing place! Trish and Eric could not have been more welcoming and friendly. If you're looking for a place with heritage, that tells a story as soon as you walk in, this is it. The fried walleye and perch were fantastic. This is exactly what I expected an old inn on the shores of Lake Michigan to be like...and with great food to boot!
