I had to let you know how pleased and happy I am with my new bed. You chose the right bed for me as I'm doing better with this new mattress. The service was outstanding from the purchase, the delivery and the set up. The two gentlemen were professional, informative and friendly. I would highly recommend you to anyone interested. My wife and I stopped in to browse as we are furnishing a recently bought home in Falmouth. I was surprised to find some truly artistic pieces and some interesting furniture made by the Amish. I loved the bentwood occasional/coffee tables and we needed a platform bed. We decided on a bed made by Yoder's Woodworking. We came back the next day and Chloe helped us. She was fun to talk to and very energetic. Skipper the family dog was there and that was a nice touch to make a friend with 4 legs.
I think the prices were good. I used to live in Pennsylvania and Amish furniture is no nonsense, well made stuff. I met Marcus a couple times and he helped us too. I looked over the website to see the history of how this business was started by Cathy and this is a real Maine family business. I like that! They have many awards, great history, a post office and free parking. I'll be back. Thank You.

We have shopped here several times and have always been happy with the service and furnishings we have bought. Today however was different . Several years ago we purchased a recliner( which I love immensely ) but the battery for it was no longer working( which I found out was my fault🤪) went into the store to see if they could order another one, they took the time to explain to me what I was doing wrong and were so kind as to give me a replacement battery! Not sure a big box store would do that! Great to shop locally and the customer service was over and above what we expected. Thank you Sweet Dreams!

Great Brunswick Me area furniture store with no pressure sales staff. Furniture name brands at competitive prices. They carry bed, living and dining rooms and even outdoor furniture. Items can be ordered to get the colors and sizes you want. Their stand out delivery charges are not base on purchase prices like their competitors. Prices are average or below.

We decided to try out this furniture store in Brunswick, as we are local Freeport residents and are remodeling a den in our log home. We also in past years have always tried to shop at, and support, local vendors, no matter the size of the purchase. Upon arriving and looking around, we met Marcus, who was friendly, polite, and professional. We explained what we were looking for (a small sofa-bed and some end tables), and he showed us the options available to us. Marcus was clearly knowledgeable about not only his inventory, but of all aspects of each of the several pieces that we looked at. We did find what we thought would be some ideal pieces, and Marcus walked us through the payment process. He arranged for delivery within about 10 days (excellent timing for us!). The two gentlemen who delivered were just wonderful – careful of bringing the new furniture in, as well as in not scratching anything when doing so. They even took a door off to accommodate the new sofa bed. To top it off, they were just wonderful to our two overly excited dogs. Such a comforting experience overall! The day after delivery, we did however discover what appeared to be a manufacturing defect with one of the tables. We called Marcus, and he asked us to return it as soon as possible (we could fit it in our car), and he would work with us to replace it. Lo and behold, after looking around a bit, we found a matching table which was smaller than the scratched one, but actually fit better in our den overall. We also then purchased two end table lamps and a standing lamp while there, which met all our needs for the remodeled den.
We cannot fully express our satisfaction with this entire transaction, start to finish. Marcus, Chloe, and staff we met were all gracious, warm, and professional. The delivery was completed smoothly thanks to two great guys with such comfortable personalities, and who did all the hard work. Prices were reasonable, quality of materials seems excellent overall, and we feel so confident with our purchases. This Spring we hope to replace our living room sofa and stuffed chair/ottoman, and we know that our first, and probably final stop to do so, will be at “Sweet Dreams” Furniture. We also will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone we know who is ever looking for any type furniture in future weeks and months. Our thanks to all involved for such a positive experience. We will be back!

With assistance from the well qualified staff at Sweet Dreams I was able to custom design a perfect size side table for my dining room. Gorgeous elm with Michael’s finish and the expert craftsmanship makes it all stunning. I wanted a single top drawer which cleverly came with a built in drawer divider. The delivery was on right on time.

We loved Sweet Dreams so much that after moving to Chattanooga, TN we contacted them again and once again they came thru shipping a match to a previously purchased twin bed to a local furniture store here in Tn for pick up! We're in love with our new dining set. The team was so great in helping us customize and select the right style, wood and color. They were so patient and helpful to us in our selection process. I can't say enough good things about their vast options, the quality, and their superb customer service. We had a small amount of damage on one of the table legs and they were so helpful and worked with us to replace the leg at no cost! It's so refreshing to work with actual human beings! We would highly recommend.

Another successful purchase and delivery from Sweet Dreams in Brunswick!! We are so pleased with their service and sales! Our first visit which resulted in a purchase of a beautiful reclining love seat. We were impressed with Marcus and his knowledge of various types of chairs. AND we are loving our purchase! For years we have been looking for a bookcase to compliment a teak bookcase we have. Again Marcus to the rescue and suggested a custom bookcase! We worked with him on the design and it was delivered the other day! Beautiful and looks great! We are so pleased!! The delivery guys were great very professional and on time! Around Christmas time 2021.....This story starts over ten years ago at Sweet Dreams Home Furnishings in Brunswick, Maine. My wife wanted a new bedroom set, but a classy one. after shopping at a lot of places we stopped here. She found a set she loved (very nice, great quality, people have commented on the beautiful styling and wood colors etc), so I was smart enough to get it for her. Ten+ years later we went looking for a new mattress. The furniture has held up marvelously! After several stores, we headed towards Walmart and she said hey, we should go back to Sweet Dreams. The staff there was very accommodating answering all my mattress questions, they didn't make our exact mattress anymore but they researched and had our old files and matched us up with the closest thing. And when they ran a sales price to me, including delivery, setup, and removal; of the older mattress, ironically it was the best price out of three other quotes we had picked up at other places, and the other places had sales prices and even military discount included but Sweet Dreams actually was the one my wife went with. They had to order it (pandemic!!!! supply! aargh!), but they said it could be shipped January 5th to get here. Well they have communicated (multiple emails) and called to let us know when it came in (earlier than we expected), and to setup a delivery/pickup etc. A storm cancelled the first delivery but they emailed and called and reset up the soonest (2 days later!) delivery again. The story ends today, they showed up, the guys were quick, courteous, and professional. And everything that was promised, happened. When you get treated well, you should let others know so you help other people who may be looking. Thanks Sweet dreams for an actual really good experience, yet again. v/r Gunner and Jeanne.

Had an excellent experience buying furniture over several months. Mostly dealt with Catherine who was wonderful but all the staff is helpful, friendly and professional.

Since we moved to Maine 8 years ago, we have bought numerous pieces from Sweet Dreams. We have found their prices to be VERY competitive- even a good bit less than comparable stores. The folks who work there are very knowledgeable and they actually let you shop without following you around and pressuring you to buy. If you need assistance, they are right there to help. Their selection is excellent and the quality of their merchandise is above average. The delivery guys are very courteous and helpful. We highly recommend this store if you need furniture or bedding.

For furniture in our home, no matter the store, the few issues we have had have been manufacturer based. We have never dealt with any store that can match the service this store is capable of giving to assure continuing customer satisfaction. Ordered our Amish made bedroom set. Beautiful wood working, friendly atmosphere. There is a wait upon ordering as most are ordered to be made. Affordable delivery charge. Worth the wait 👍

We loved our experience. Chloe did an outstanding job. She helped us find just the right fabrics for our sofa and pillows that are complimentary to our sofa and the rest of our living room decor. Her decorating skills are a great asset. Worth shopping at Sweet Dreams.

Sweet Dreams is a wonderful local home furnishings option!! I purchased a slipcover loveseat and chairs many years ago and they’re still in great shape!! I recently decided to update my look (since there was no need to buy new) and they were happy to look up my original purchase and answer questions.

Had a problem with the stitching on a leather sofa I purchased two years ago at Sweet Dreams. Went back and spoke with the owner Marcus and he got a qualified repair person to come to my house and professionally repaired the splitting seam. I can recommend Sweet Dreams as a company that stands behind what they sell.

I went there looking for a sofa. There is a huge selection and the saleswoman spent about 45 minutes with me and my 2 year old daughter. She was so patient and hugely helpful. Love that this is a family owned business.
