The Smilist Dental Fishkill

What great customer service we experienced today at this dental practice! Waited less than 5 mins before called back, staff was professional, accommodating and explained everything and allowed myself opportunity to ask questions. The best part was the amount of genuine patience and kindness staff had for my 4 y.o who it was his first ever visit, he felt safe and trusted the staff to do all tasks and then asked to come back again tomorrow to this dentist office!! No complaints- X-ray, cleaning, and seeing the Dentist went smooth. Would 100% recommend this Dentist Office!!

I loved their energy, attentiveness, and active communication. The actual visit was pretty seamless and left me feeling positive about my teeth health. Office is clean and efficient. All staff were pleasant. Had a slight snag with my insurance and we figured it out pleasantly - appreciate the patient service both physically and financially. Make sure you (patient) read about your benefits and discuss it at the desk before going in for everyone's clarity. Highly recommend their office.

After a bad experience at a previous dds it’s amazing to find such a caring facility with a great staff!! They even took my son on an emergency a few moths ago when no other DDS would see him on such short notice. I drive 90 miles because they are just that good. Would highly recommend.

My son has Autism and when I tell you the staff was wonderful with my son it's an understatement. They got some x rays and did a full cleaning. I'm so grateful for the patience and respect they gave my son. The first time he's let a dentist near him while being awake.

I have old funky teeth and went in for a routine cleaning. I knew I had bone loss for a long time and Sarah was the first to address this problem with a serious game plan to save my teeth in the long run. She took her time, explained everything in detail and really showed concern. She was fabulous! Also too, Dr. Matt Goldsmith is a power house of a dentist, he's wonderful...great team to have on your side! By the time I got home I received a phone call and was told I over paid and that charge was returned immediately...I would have never known, what a great office!

I had a great experience here. I was able to express my concerns to the staff and Dr in regards to my insecurities with my
Dental situation and they were kind and sympathetic which made me feel really good given my circumstances. It was difficult visit for me and they were very kind. I am happy I fount them and I am hoping to stay a patient long term.

I had a horrible toothache that started Christmas night. Next day found out most every dentist in the area was on vacation. (I don't have a regular dentist as I am fairly new to the area). My insurance company made me this appointment on Wednesday for the next day. I waited about 5 minutes to be seen. Tech was lovely, she took lots of x-rays, the dentist saw me briefly and said I needed antibiotics and ultimately will need my tooth extracted and sadly more work. Front office staff made appointments for a cleaning and the extractions. Every one was very nice and friendly. Very nice up-to-date office. Nice vibe here.
DON'T PUT OFF THE DENTIST JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE DENTAL PHOBIC LIKE ME OR AREN'T HAVING ISSUES OR ARE JUST CRAZY BUSY.
I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

Sarah was the the hygienist today. She took care of myself and my husband. I had a full mouth series of X-rays. It’s been 3 years since my last series so both due. She probed my gums randomly, not all over ( I floss so she can see that) my hubby got the full probing (every tooth). He had some pockets. She used the cavitron very thoroughly and then scaled thoroughly ( instruments were sharp, which is a good thing, dull instruments don’t remove anything). She then polished my teeth (every tooth… I say this because I’ve had someone here just zip though this part) The doctor came in , I think he was Dr Yung. Very nice man. He checked my X-rays and my teeth. He found a few things to just watch. Then I had a fluoride treatment. Sarah was very nice, and kept asking if I was ok, which is great. I was fine, no pain at all. My hubby had the same experience. The assistants were very nice as well. Overal they were great! The office is very clean, so is the bathroom. Will definitely ask for Sarah again! She gets the job done!! Oh,forgot. Our appointment was at 8:30 and we were in at that time. Not much of a wait. Sometimes if you come later there may be a little waiting depending on if they run late because a patient came late.

This dental practice is the bomb! You are treated with kindness and respect by everyone there from the receptionist to the assistant, hygienist and dentist. Everyone there rocks ! ( especially Sarah Giannini !) I wouldn’t go anywhere else !

Very friendly staff. Felt comfortable and welcomed. I’m glad I went to the appt. From start to finish excellent job. Thank you so much to the staff and Doctor. This is my dentist forever. They are compassionate, understanding and genuine. Thank you!! Will see you soon 🙂

Absolutely a 10!

I am so happy with the result, the fitting the look and how the teeth actually work. I'm 72 years old and never thought I would be happy with my teeth again. All the people I dealt with were more than friendly and obliging.

I want to thank all of you, the result is absolutely fabulous. The experience was equally as fabulous, nothing like what I thought it would be like. It was absolutely a wonderful surprise!

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Goldsmith as my new dentist. I made him aware of my fear of needles and being at the dentist in general. I tell you…. I have never experienced a more professional and patient Dentist than Dr. Goldsmith! He rocked! He explained everything he was doing and chatted so my anxiety would come down. Before I knew it, the novacaine shot was done and everything else was a breeze. I didn’t even sweat the drilling! I left with a cavity that was filled and a front tooth that looked like it was never chipped! I give this Doctor, his fabulous assistant and the wonderful staff a 10+ 😊

Dr. Quintana is the best with an excellent professional chairside manner. He extracted all four wisdom teeth for my daughter who was very anxious when arriving for appointment but he was very understanding, soft-spoken and went through everything to reassure her what to expect. His assistant Phylea, Christina and Maddie were also very caring, professional and knowledgeable putting my daughter's nerves at ease. Thank you for a positive experience!!

This office team at The Smilist Dental in Fishkill NY, are a group of efficient and courteous workers. I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to be called in for my appointment. Everyone has been very kind and always go the extra mile to help. Thank you!! You make me smile everytime I go.

Saw Dr J J and had a root canal and can honestly say was an extremely PLEASANT EXPERIENCE! This is coming from someone with a crippling anxiety of the dentist. He was funny kind with an awesome sense of humor to boot!!! Absolutely no pain!!!!

Doctor Bauer and his assistant gave me hope! I went in scared and ready to leave out in tears due to past trauma and experiences, yet my entire experience was so pleasant and painless. Dr. Bauer was extremely gentle and his assistant was there to reassure me that I’ll be ok. I wish i knew her name, but thank you sweetie you’re the kindest and you made me feel safe. ❤

I was so impressed and happy with Dr. Bauer and his amazing assistant Kourtney. Dr.Bauer was extremely gentle. I was expecting some pain and I was in shock. I didn't experience any pain at all. Everything is shown on a large screen and Dr. Bauer explains what exactly you are looking at and what he is doing. I have a severe anxiety disorder. Going to the dentist is frightening for me especially because I have experienced horrible pain from dentist in the past . Courtney made my visit actually fun . She is so sweet and funny she could actually be a comedian. She is just full of life . She cared that I was frightened at first and assured me about the dentist being kind and gentle. I would say above all she is extremely professional. There is no joking when she explained to me what he was doing step by step . That took practically all my anxiety away . Her charming personality actually made it fun .
