Poor Richards Cafe

## THIS place knows what they are, and they do it GREAT! This is a Greasy Spoon type of joint. It's not fancy, it's basic...but they do BASIC TO PERFECTION. Food is cooked to order(believe me, i sat watching for an hour) and waitress staff is amazingly active. They don't let your food get cold, because as soon as it's up, they are running to your table to serve. Their prices are cheap, but if you go in with the right expectation, then this could become your family's favorite everyday eatery.

My husband and I love this place! We love right in a nearby neighborhood and go here for breakfast quite frequently. It's got such a warm atmosphere, such a friendly team of people working there, and the food is tasty, quick to come out to you, and super affordable. Highly recommend!

Omg so we came here last year and it was great. I absolutely loved that we did not have to wait for an extended period of time. The decor was so cool. Very old school vintage soul to the place. The staff was super friendly and sweet. Definitely would like to come back next time we're in Kalamazoo. The food was super delicious we ordered so many different dishes, loved the biscuits and gravey as well as the cheese curds. Definitely highly recommend give these people all of your money it is well worth it!

Love this place!! To slide in as often as I can. Love that if I’m not feeling breakfast at 8am I can order lunch and vise versa. Food is always great the service is always fast and friendly!! Highly recommend if you haven’t had the great pleasure of experiencing already!!!

My first time, as I was visiting friends, but I will be back! Our food and service were great. I highly recommend the cinnamon roll and a buddy to split it with!

I've eaten here for years. Grat portions and flavor, some of the best burgers in town and the staff is fantastic and friendly.

Food is so yummy here, we had breakfast. Waitress was extremely nice! Will be back!

A little out Dated Interior, Food is Very Affordable, Extremely friendly staff, food comes fast and hot. Ive been coming here since i was a child, nothing has changed but staff!

Great food & prices in the atmosphere of a small town restaurant.

New places keep appearing which we try. And we always come back here. Not only are the food and portions better, but the service is far superior.

This was my first visit, and certainly won't be the last. Coffee was great. A full decanter was left for me so I could fill my cup as needed.
The staff is awesome, always smiling and engaging.
The breakfast menu was well-rounded. If recall correctly, most plates offered (if not, all) were under $10!
If you're looking to break away from "chain" restaurants AND get value for your money, this is the place to check out.

Just trust me and get the bacon deep fried. Best place for breakfast basics and no wait for a table plus a fun swashbuckling aesthetic.
