Hampton Townships best kept secret. I never dreamed that something so good would be so close to Bay City. Paved sites, full hook ups, 30\50 amp, clubhouse, clean restrooms, shower so, boat launch with access to Saginaw Bay all in a secluded environment. Don't tell anyone though, we want to keep it all to ourselves. 😉
There are nature trails and birdwatching is great. Many stay the whole season. May and June are for Walleye fishermen. Weekends are for kids and their parents. 👨‍👩‍👦

This is a grand resource for locals. It has a usable boat launch that is used by people accessing fishing locations on the bay. The nice paved walk extends out into the marshlands on the bay's edge. The canal along the walkway leading to the bay area is used by families to fish. Additionally there is a nature walk leading to the west and a nice walk to the east where you can access a viewing tower. Bird life is abundant for those interested. Hampton Township should be proud to support this public resource.

Finn Roads best future. This is a great place to take a walk, launch a boat or camp. Clean clear water, that opens up into the Saginaw bay. With a few wood right walk way and look out towers it's easy to spend you spring summer fall or winter days enjoying the beautiful scenery. The Area is in a safe location, and is jus a good place to relax. So next time your recreational time is due for cashing in, come check out the finn road boat launch.

Very well kept. Clean bathhouse. Paved roads with concrete camping pads. Most sites have at least part of the day of shade.

Cute, clean, quiet place for ridiculously cheap. Great walking trail right off the lake and a gorgeous sunset. We were a last minute reservation and she knew we'd get in while she was gone, so she texted us all the info. Rare to find trust or service like that these days!

A real diamond in the rough! Love this place, even has wifi throughout the camp. Great nature trails with a lookout tower too! Paved roads and low speed limit of 5mph makes it very kind friendly 😊

This is one of those out of the way gems! Ellen, the CG manager, is excellent to work with. The city owned CG sits right next to Saginaw Bay of Lake Huron. We could walk to the lake on a path by the boat launch. There's also a nice 1/4 mile walking path through the woods/swamp right behind the campground with an observation platform, and a nature trail on the other side of the canal. There were many long term campers with boats there, but still several empty sites each nite. Some people even mow their own sites! Lots of trees, shade and grass with full hookups at 30A or 50A for $30/night. There is one water hookup with 4 spigots for 4 adjoining sites. You might need a 2nd hose to reach depending on which corner you get. The bath house is in nice shape. You can wash your rig on-site for $10. Go into Bay City and take the river walk from Riverwalk Pier over to Bigelow Park on the island in the Saginaw River.

Very nice quite well park. Ellen was amazing. She went above and beyond for us. We will be back. If you come bring extra water hose, some sites have a long reach.

We enjoyed our 2 weeks at Finn Road Park. Ellen was a pleasure to work with. The sites and roads are paved! Each site has a concrete patio. The lots are spacious. We were on the smallest site and there was plenty of room. New fencing surrounded the park. A paved path leads from the boat launch to the inlet on the bay where you can see many egrets and heron. Our neighbors were friendly. It's not far from Bay City. We would definitely choose Finn Road Park again!

We take the waking trails and it's a nice easy walk. All gravel some dirt trails on the woods. Lots of turtles!
