Village by the Sea

My husband and I stayed at Village by the Sea for a week in October. The condo unit we had was 2 bedrooms 2 baths. It was very spacious and comfortable. The unit was very clean and fresh. This condo community is very quiet and relaxing. The foliage was breathtaking and serene. We would definitely stay again.

We have been there twice and both times was amazing. I would definitely highly recommend to vacation here it's the best place we have truly found to stay and Maine , Wells has 3 different beaches the ocean view is amazing 😍 there's fun activities for kids in Wells and great food places but I do not recommend sea coast pizza and pasta we had such a bad experience with the food we'd never eat there again. All and all the condo apartments are very stunning and have everything in them to meet your needs. This is definitely our families new vacation location we love village by the sea ❤❤

The reason why it is 3 Stars is cuz it doesn't have a restaurant on premises and not transportation to downtown you don't have a car you are stranded. We went there for a conference, It was amazing that the staff from reception to housekeeping were straordinari people but the only downside is that there's no delivery on food, no Uber or Lyft .so other than that it is an amazing place to stay.

All units are condos. We had a one bedroom unit. The rooms were furnished nicely, 2 baths, one shower stall and one bath/shower.

The kitchen is well equipped, clean, up to date. Refrigerator was spotless. 8 outlets in the counter top.

Tons of closet and storage space. Others and charging ports everywhere.

The bed was comfortable. All units have either a balcony or a patio area. We had a patio.

Overall, it felt like we were living in a nice home, very comfortable and welcoming.

A different touch was that it seems each unit has its own spectrum account with it's own modem, router, and cable box instead of a shared network.

My family has been staying here for 30+ years, have stayed in every building. The amount of space provided by these units are unmatched especially for the price, which seems expensive but isn't once you factor in that your unit has a full kitchen, dining room, living room 2 bed rooms and 2 full baths. Only complaint is finding a parking spot infront of your unit at night can be tough during prime season

Clean place to stay with friendly staff. We always need a single night in Maine before we can have access to our condominium and this place was perfect. Plenty of room for our family of 5 with 3 teen boys. Full kitchen and dining area, beds were comfortable and the AC kept the rooms cool on a really hot night. Was quiet (we were in 12F top floor) and near the indoor and outdoor pools (although we didn’t use them). Local restaurant (Mikes seafood) was very close and I recommend the stop there. This is our view from the master bedroom. Was lovely.

Stay here for three months. Not a bad place to stay. Make sure you get a top floor do you can hear everything below. Staff is great if you could be pretty great too depending on your unit.

My kids use the pool here, we’ve been coming to the Village By The Sea for years, great place!

We had our wedding here in 2011 and are so excited to be attending another wedding here this summer! The yard and landscaping were so lovely and their planner was exceptionally good! They included cake from local baker as part of our package!

We stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday and we're very comfortable. The rooms were spacious the bed was comfortable. We did have an issue with the televisions getting them to work correctly, In my sister's room there was a fireplace that did not work which was a bummer.

Stayed two nights in a two bedroom unit. Perfect for our family of 4. Loved having a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Will definitely be back!

I initially was a little hesitant about this hotel as we were here for a wedding and were coming from out of town. It ended up being a really nice little place! The units weren't super fancy but nice, clean, and very spacious. The wedding went smoothly as well. Nice little town too!

Accommodations were great. Spacious suites. Apartments nicely furnished for all the comforts of indoor living. Variety of sitting areas in every room, patio with table and chairs and lights for nighttime leisure, and even a stereo system with a music library. Laundry closet washer/dryer, iron and board. Everything was clean, building was well maintained. I would definitely return and recommend my friends.

We stayed in Unit 9H - a two BR on the 3rd floor. It was spectacular - very roomy, immaculate and updated, with an electric fireplace and other terrific amenities. It was going to be a bit rainy this weekend so we knew we'd be indoor longer than we'd like, and we wanted way more room than a hotel offers, particularly during these times when common areas aren't safe. This place was PERFECT - way, way better than a hotel. I recommend it enthusiastically.

Incredibly unique place! Great meeting spot for appetizers, a unique drink or just to chat (in the back park-like setting). Very warm & inviting with friendly staff. Great spot for a first date!

Have stayed many times over the course of the last 5 years. Each trip we stay in the same accommodations which are always clean, but this most recent trip with the pandemic i was so pleased to walk in to the smell of bleach and a freshly cleaned space! Staff are always nothing short of helpful and pleasant. The facilities are immaculate and I look forward to next years annual trip as I do every time!

The condo is beautiful and quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful. Has shared grilling which I use every year and washer and dryer in the room so you can wash your laundry before you head home. Just unpack and relax. Close to beach and still can wake up to ocean smell. Love this place.

We've stayed here several times and it's always been clean, cozy, and convenient!!

The location is great, you can even see the ocean from your room, of course it's about a mile away but still, it's the ocean. It is also located right near the strip so you can easily get all your commodities that you may need for a good vacation. The rooms are clean and have a nice home away from home feeling, even with a fake fireplace it's a nice touch.. The room service is friendly and helps stock. The pool is a good size and is heated very nicely. There is also a hot tub that is wonderful to unwind in.. There is a game room and a gym as well.. Overall I recommend this place for any big family that wants to have that at home feel while being in a great location in Wells, Maine.

I’ve stayed here twice with my family and it’s such a nice little spot. There are indoor and outdoor pools. The condos are clean. The people are nice. I will continue to come back here on vacations.
