I ordered a Large Meatball and Mushroom Pizza (WELL DONE)

This guy is running the ENTIRE house by himself!! Give him some credit!! He’s always been nice to me, and I have NEVER had an issue! You NEVER know what someone is going through!

Upon finding this SWEET Pizza Place during my first snow storm in 2024 here, I looked up the menu on Google only to find these AWFUL reviews and I immediately decided to look elsewhere for dinner, HOWEVER upon sitting in the parking lot and debating where else I could eat…I decided to GIVE IT A CHANCE!

Dennis welcomed with me a WARM and CONFIDENT welcome upon entering his pizza place, he gave me a beautiful back story about his pizza place and helped me make a decision on my pizza toppings!!

THE RESTAURANT:
The shop is MUCH bigger than it seems from the outside. It has maybe 8-10 BOOTHS for you and your family/friends to enjoy your meal inside! Along with almost every flavor of Soda on TAP or bottled in the FRIDGE. Paired with shelves and shelves of Frito-Lay and local chips from Maine this place has it ALL!

I then waited 10-15 minutes for my pizza to be ready and this is what it looked like 25 minutes later when I got home!!

HOW WAS IT?!
The SAUCE has a SLIGHTLY sweet and TANGY flavor..paired with a beautiful CRISP CRUNCH on the base of this pizza, it truly compliments the GOOEY mozzarella cheese that’s been baked to a perfect consistency. Slight chew to the dough, but it’s flaky at the same time and melts away in your mouth! BEAUTIFUL PIZZA!

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, FRESH MEATBALL AND KILLER CRUST!! BIG FAN OF THIS STYLE OF PIZZA!! I WILL RETURN AGAIN DENNIS!

Okay, so I get why there are negative reviews. But if you can get past his personality, the pizza is REALLY good! Try the house special. It is loaded with toppings.
Update: 7/18/23...we just finished another House Special. It was awesome! So many toppings that went all the way to the crust. Perfect pizza 🍕

Pizza is tasty. Service was iffy but he warmed up to us after he made our pizza.

I live just down the road. Have never stopped here before. Ordered a chicken parm sub and really enjoyed it. Chewy toasted roll, fresh cheese, good rich sauce. The guy was nice enough-- I'd say ignore the negative reviews and give it a try.

First off don’t listen to the negative reviews based on this man’s personality. I have been here a few times now and not once have I ever been treated poorly. I don’t normally leave reviews but I almost didn’t eat here because some of them were so bad. I decided to try it myself and this is THE BEST PIZZA IN TOWN! Glad I did!!

Best Greek Pizza!! We have ordered a small special and cannot eat it all! Very filling!! Loaded with peppers,onions, sausage, mushroom, olives and pepperoni. (Hope we got them all!) Pick up was spot on for time on a Saturday night. We are originally from Boston so are pizza snobs who have spent a lot of time in the north end!! You will not be disappointed!

This place is awesome… perhaps the chemistry with other customers mentioned is just due to personality clash? We love and support this place, it’s a gem of Wells and fantastic food.

Cheese pizza and a greek salad. Not what I expected while reading the reviews. The pizza was really good. The crust was crunchy and chewy like it should be, perfect amount of sauce and the cheese was a generous amount as well. The greek salad was good, plenty of feta! Owner must have been working, and took our order. He was nice no complaints here at all. We would go back!

I think these guys are getting a bad rap
I looked at this thing for reviews and it was like 2.9 or 3.3 or something on a five scale

I don’t know I had a meatball sub probably should’ve taken a picture of it for you and it was great the staff was good food was hot and I didn’t wait not sure what more you would want it’s a pizza / sub shop.
Timely / tasty / decent portion / $7.00 not to shabby

I think that’s a five star give them a try

Nice neighborhood pizza place. Food was excellent and service was quick. Side note......I have read some of the poor reviews given. Just cut these folks a break.
All are doing there best to get us our food with a severe staffing shortage. Maybe be a tad kinder to them!!

Great pizza and sandwiches! The place is very clean and the service is always good and fast. You should try it and not get to hung up on any negative reviews.

Ive had great experiences here. I get it once a week. Great food, customer service has always been excellent. When i call in pickup it is always ready when i get there, and i only live 5 minutes away. Probably the best pizza place in wells, in my opinion.

Seriously.... Best New England style steak bomb, not fancy, but flavorful and satisfying and just great! Obviously prepared by a true connoisseur. Wicked Pissah!

Classic pizza/sub shop. Love me a good grinder. Had a Rich Boy. Made well. Nice clean restaurant.

Got a turkey grinder and shared a roni pizza, both were very good. Grinder was a much better sandwich than you'd get from a Subway type of place, freshly made and toasted in a oven, not a conveyer belt. Dennis is the man.

Awsome food!! Hands down the best in wells. Fair prices great service. Recommend to anyone looking for a good meal.

Excellent pizza. Reasonable prices. Serving steak bombs and other hot sandwiches as well as parmesan chicken etc. Our go to for pizza in the area!

Don’t waste your time on seacoast. Go here instead.
