Congdons After Dark Food Truck Park

We were gonna go out to dinner at a nice restaurant but when arrived and saw the food trucks we quickly changed our minds just because we love food trucks. Stopped by all the trucks to see what they had and ended up going to Bubba Frye's On The Fly got the Memphis Chicken Sandwich daughter got the Chicken and Waffles. Both sandwiches were great so big that we couldn't finish it all. Then we got fries from Knew Potato Caboose got the Little Red Rooster which consisted of fries, Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, Bacon, Ranch and Scallions piled on high so good. We were definitely not disappointed on our decision.

Hoss & Mary's food truck is so delicious! I was reminded just how superior fresh haddock really is. Excellent, friendly, made to order service. Highly recommend.

Went two nights in a row and both nights offered different options. A wide variety of food options. It's expensive ($15-20 per plate) but everything has been delicious.

The food was excellent! If we had another day, we would have gone back again. We had the lobster roll and lobster mac and cheese. They were generous portions, and they absolutely delicious! The lobster was fresh, and the prices weren't bad either. I would recommend a trip here for some excellent food chouces.

Great time, love the variety of the different trucks. Everything we go we have so much fun with friends and the chalk wall for the kids to write/draw and play house is always a kid pleaser.

Can't wait until next year.

Stumbled upon this wonderful place while passing through. Excellent selection of food trucks! Got a lobster roll and Brazilian beach cheese and both were incredible!

Great place to enjoy some great food trucks. My family lives nearby and while we are in town we decided to check out food truck night. The food is all fresh hot and made to order. A bit pricey, but splitting it with someone makes it a great evening.

Another awesome trip. Hoss & Mary's was tonight's choice we had Kool crabrangoon dip w/pretzel chips and the Lobster BTL Burger Outrageous. As I told Mary I love them and wish they were family.

It was raining heavy, but the trucks were still pumping out the food. You can sit inside the beer garden where they offer lots of Maine's finest craft beers as well cocktails. We just moved to Sanford Maine and the people here are very friendly. Our bartender was a sweetheart, a former teacher , and gave us a few great places to eat and drink in Wells and some surrounding towns. Can't wait to go back for breakfast when the weather is nicer. We had pulled pork sandwiches from bbq Bettys, they were decent sized and very flavorful.

added a new fish shack (sorta) recently to my go-to list of favorite fish shacks. check out Hoss & Mary’s food truck at congdon’s after dark. the owners are lovely people, and they served up a good plate of fried haddock—very tasty, very generously portioned, very reasonably priced, and served with a super good dill pickly-ish (word? not word?) tartar sauce that reminds us why we eat fish to begin with. Came with good coleslaw and crunchy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside fries, perfectly done and nicely seasoned (and thankfully without that icky coating that some have). the only thing missing was black pepper (not a failing), which i added with abandon (…good, keep going, bit more, ah right there. perfect. looks like you dropped it in dirt…), because i have no class.

tried a barreled souls honey dip blonde ale, and it was…interesting. you know that mildly nauseating smell when you walk into a candle shop? it was like pouring that smell into a cup, adding honey, and calling it ale, which was…interesting. be sticking with my favorite lone pine citrusy portland pale ale for the time being, but glad i tried the other. mostly. there was live entertainment, which we enjoyed, and lots of mosquitos, also a brand of live entertainment, which we did not.

at closing time, congdon’s passed around (gratis) the remainder of the day’s baked goods. all was well until i looked at the table in front of me and saw… (wait for it…) …beer and doughnuts. yup, come home to maine. all i need is a rusty washer in the front yard and my look is complete.

Very excited to update this review. Our second experience was definitely a 5. Still a great selection, my husband and I were able to get food from two different trucks in just about the same amount of time. I'm not sure if there is more seating, if the seating was reorganized, or we just got lucky, but it only took a couple minutes to find a table. Excited to take friends and family here.

Stopped at Knew Potato Caboose and had one of their offerings. It was top notch!

Total of 10 trucks, live music, picnic tables, beer garden. Just about anything you could want.

Followed recommendations on time and got their by 5:15pm and had no issues. Drove by later around 7:15pm and it was mobbed!

OMG!!!! This place is food truck paradise!!! Fantastic we went 2 nights in a row on our 2 night stay in Wells Beach!!! The trucks change nightly!

Absolutely delicious food! The downside is there is a ton of people and not enough seating. We ended up taking our food home since we couldn't find anywhere to sit.

Awesome. Rotating food truck park, open every evening. Check on their website for the rotation schedule. Congdon's products available (donuts, pops, beer, honeydip donut grilled cheese!) as well as 6 or so other local trucks of great variety. Lots of outdoor seating and parking, atm on premises, port-o-potty available. A must go to when near Wells Beach!

We had a great time! Lots of variety and the entertainment was great. Prices were high though at many of the trucks.

This place is great!! A lovely mix of food trucks all offering some amazing food. Something for everyone. They have a website which let's you know which trucks will be there on different days so you can plan ahead and they also have entertainment such as musicians and car shows. It's really a nice evening out and it supports some locals which is a huge bonus!!

Lots of variety, good drinks and food. Friendly staff, especially the bar keep. Especially enjoyed the doughnut beer, Honey Dipped Pale Ale.

Probably the best food truck experience you could ask for. We tried something from almost every truck and nothing disappointed. From the burgers, fresh custom fries, to the pizza, to the fish tacos to the mini donuts (Congdons truck - smells like heaven!!) - everything was fresh and delicious. We loved it
