We are really enjoying our new boat and are extremely happy with this dealer. Our South Bay swingback has been a hit with friends and family and the tritoon really cuts through choppy waters keeping a smooth ride. Three generations of our family have used our speedboat at Gun Lake but only for a couple of weeks each year. Two different times in the last few years our boat has had a problem that left it inoperable, threatening to upend the fun of cruising, skiing, and tubing for all.

Met Kyle at the Grand Rapids boat show. We decided to buy our boat there. Kyle was very informative while we were trying to make the decision. The process was very easy. Kyle brought the boat to our lake, dropped it in the water, and cruised around the lake with me answering any questions. He probably spent about an hour or more with me. I would definitely recommend Matteson Marine.

Just bought a new South Bay pontoon from these guys at the Grand Rapids boat show. Kyle and Vaughn were absolute great to deal with. All of the other dealers had very pushy salesman and only seemed interested in getting the deal done. Matteson's was very low pressure. Exactly what we were looking for. We rented a pontoon with only a few weeks notice, such a great experience compared to other rental in town. Full day rental is all day, until 8pm, unlike 4pm at the other place. Honest, value, they treat you like family at Matteson. We will be buying a pontoon here in the Spring, now that we have tested the lake and the pontoon models through renting. Couldn’t be more happy and confident in this business. Clearly they are committed to a good experience. Can’t wait to confidently do future business

Our boat was delayed due to supply chain issues at the manufacturer and the crew at Matteson went above and beyond to get us our boat ASAP. They even had a team of guys waiting for it to arrive after hours on a Friday so they could get the motor on and get it delivered that night. This kind of customer service is so rare and definitely appreciated.

I just want to say how amazed my wife and I are at the quality of the people at this company. First of all it is truly a family that runs this...they are almost all Mattesons so there is a real trust level here we have not felt at other dealerships. This family business goes back several generations!

Long story short, we purchased a 2019 Tri-toon and had it custom made with some special features, colors, lighting package, trim package, and even an engine that they wouldn't normally order on a boat and they not only ordered it for us like that, but they never even asked us to sign anything or put any money down until the boat actually was in the water already! I am in real estate and that just doesn't happen in my line of work so I was kind of in shock...I kept calling Kyle the boat sales manager to make sure we were okay :-)

Because we custom ordered this boat, after 2 months of use it had a major issue that was solely the responsibility of the manufacturer for the custom engine we asked Matteson Marine to put on for us. We are SO GLAD we bought from a dealership actually on Gun Lake or we would have been in a world of hurt when our custom engine blew a piston and Kyle Matteson came right out and rescued us. When the manufacturer had delay replacing the engine, these guys took amazing care of us the entire time and loaned us a new boat that was a perfect temporary replacement for the one we just bought brand new! Next time we buy a boat we are just going to take Kyle's recommendation!

We have gotten to meet almost everyone now at the place and every one of them is top notch and about the nicest folks we've ever had the pleasure to meet. My wife and I just can't recommend them enough!

Outstanding service department. Unfortunately I bought a brand new alumacraft trophy 185 from another dealer, and had nothing but trouble with them after I signed the purchase agreement. My Mercury 150 four stroke blew up with 29 hours. I refused to go back to the other dealership for the warranty work. I called Matteson on a Monday afternoon, and dropped it off that same day. They preformed the warranty work, replaced the power head, in a week's time. Very helpful and will be going back for all service work.
