Old Marsh Country Club

My business - Hager Photography was hired to photograph a wonderful fall wedding at Old Marsh Country Club in October. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I'm sure any event here will be amazing. I look forward to working here again very soon!

The course was beautiful and in great shape. Every one of the staff was very nice and courteous. Even though I lost a ton of balls, I still had a great time and ended up booking again the following day. Highly recommended! ⛳🏌

This was one of the most recommended courses for me to play while vacationing in the area. Looks like a lot of positive reviews as well so i am looking forward to my round on Saturday morning.

UPDATE: This course was very aesthetically pleasing, very challenging. Every staff member we met was excellent. The Saturday morning price was a little more than I liked but i was on vacation so what the hell. The only negative from my point of view was the fact that Mother Nature had barreled down on them with the rain but that can't be put on the golf course shoulders. I would recommend a visit when in the area.

This a beautifully maintained course. The large putting green area was set up nicely spread out with both putting and chipping options.

This certainly is a challenging course with numerous hazards and bunkers. But it is a nice challenge for intermediate and advanced golfers.

I would highly recommend this course to those in the area.

Fantastic Golf experience. Challenging and scenic course. Round was great! Food at the Osprey Club was stellar!

This was the 1st time my son and I played there and we were very pleased with the conditions of the course. Great staff the course was in great condition, can’t wait to play again.

Never played before, day following a heavy rainstorm, golf course was in great shape, staff was excellent and accommodating to get us out early, enjoyed a beer after with a great server. Will be back again

July conditions on a 50 degree day in early April. Only played the front 9, but course was in great condition, with no standing water. Kudos to the superintendent and the entire grounds crew. Also, great service from ProShop staff, and Pub / Restaurant team. The secret is out.....keep up the good work.

Opening day for the Old Marsh, what is a great experience for my brother and I. The chorus drains very well no soggy spots. We walk the course so we know. It’s a great track design. Can’t wait to return.

Course is in great shape, best in the last 5+ years I've been playing it. Tee boxes and greens were always nice but the fairways are more carved out and lush now. Pace of play on a Sat morning was perfect. Entire staff from pro shop to cart service to restaurant/pub was very friendly. Cool 19th hole vibe. Overall experience is that of a private club.

We had a wonderful round of golf. The weather was spectacular and the greens are in good shape. Thank you to the grounds team for making year-to-year improvements! The golf staff in the Clubhouse is super friendly and helpful. The pub is always a great stop.

Old Marsh is a beautiful course set in the midst of a Maine forest. Much has been preserved. Nice wide landing areas for your drives. Our only criticism is that the fairway fescue and bushes that you have to drive over are too big. The course would remain challenging if you halved their size. To enjoy our round, we had to use the shorter tees.

While on vacation in this area our group of 3 decided to get a tee time here at Old Marsh. Very challenging course that made us think about our shots and in the course was in beautiful condition! Had a member named Pat that was by himself generous enough to take the extra time and join our group and walk us through the holes. Saved each of us easily 10 strokes with his knowledge of the holes and bunker placements. We will definitely be booking another tee time here if in the area again.

Course is in good shape. Greens roll true. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Pub has a good food selection. Worth the time.

I am writing to take issue with the negative feedback that Mr. Christopher Harding left a couple of weeks ago. To give a little perspective, this was Mr. Harding‘s one and only Google review.

I too have been playing Old Marsh for the last couple of decades and his review couldn’t be further from reality. I have been a member here for the last three years and play it at least 3 times per week. Old Marsh has had significant improvement over the last season. That said, we have had a significant dry spell and I would challenge any golfer to find any golf course in Maine/New Hampshire that has not suffered with their fairways being burnt out in areas with the lack of water and rain.

From the owner, to the Pro, the Superintendent & his entire maintenance crew, & all the staff at Old Marsh, you all do an amazing job keeping our course in incredible condition & making a difference ever day!

For those checking out Old Marsh reviews, I sincerely hope that you give ZERO CREDIT to Mr. Christopher Harding’s 1 AND ONLY review and give Old Marsh a try…you will not be disappointed with the layout, the conditions & most importantly how friendly the staff is here at Old Marsh!

Course is in excellent shape. The hard work they put in late last season and early this year is really paying off. Fairways feel like carpet for the most part. Staff is friendly and helpful. Fun course.
