Lipka's Old Fashion Soda Fountain

This place is amazing. Food prices were very affordable and everything is home made. It is also like stepping back in time to an old soda shop. The owner cooks all the food from scratch and she is super friendly. We went there every day for brunch. My favorite place to eat in Michigan.

What a fun step back in time. If you want to sit at a soda fountain counter and have a delicious peanut butter chocolate malt (creatively made to order) or sit at a cute little table for an egg salad sandwich and a sweet tasty pie treat, this is the place for you. The pies are soooooo delicious, too! Old fashioned hospitality and homemade delicious eats at its best!

Update: frequent returning customers and bringing in family to try. All good things to say from everyone. Unique food and classics have all been delicious. Pies are great too.

This place really does stay true to it’s roots! Come here for a delicious treat from a real soda fountain! The sandwiches and soups hit the spot too. Super reasonably priced and the owner is so friendly. Definitely worth a visit. We need to keep places like this in business for all to enjoy for years to come.

Such a sweet place! The old soda fountain and pharmacy turned into a restaurant with reasonable pricing! Good down home food! Some new combos for those wishing to try something new. Their bologna salad is to die for! Prescription salad is really good and large too! Ok. Food covered. Now for atmosphere: every table is a vintage dinette set even down to the mini table for smaller customers, toddler style. So cute! I had a party here the night before my son’s wedding. It was precious!! Patty is a keeper, a small town icon herself

My wife and I stopped by to have a meal. My wife got the chicken salad and I got the chili and grilled ham & cheese on Asiago. We topped it off with a delicious butter pecan malt made to perfection. My sandwich and soup was great. My wife gave two thumbs up to the chicken salad. I’ll be honest… this place reminded me of eating a grandma and grandpa’s house. It’s crazy how tastes and smells can bring up memories and emotions.

I am visiting from South Carolina and was absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, from the friendly and delightful people to the nostalgic decor today absolutely delicious homemade food. Coconut cream pie is my favorite and I've had it everywhere in the nation - it was the absolute best I've ever had!

This is one of my favorite places to eat in all of West Michigan. It is very unique, relaxed enviroment, great food and great prices. The specials change regurlarly, but they have some staples that are always available. CASH ONLY!

I have visited a handful of times in my life, mainly for the ice cream and soda fountain. Despite developing lactose intolerance in the last few years, Lipka's always surprises me with some new sorbet that I can enjoy while my cousins devour their sundaes, shakes and malts. I will have to get some food sometime since it has been quite a few years since I had their soup or sandwiches but I'm sure they are just as good as when I last tasted if not better.

On top of delicious products, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming even during busy hours. Tip them well!!

Old fashioned experience, always a must stop when we're in town!

This place truly lives up to its name. I've tried to find something that is newfangled in this old fashioned soda fountain and I just can't find much. Delicious sandwiches served in a simple way. The portions are similar to what I remember from the 1960s, not huge like the modern way. There are fans instead of forced air conditioning. Authentic decor. The iced tea is fresh-brewed. Want a cherry phosphate? They'll make you one.
The service is friendly but if you're in a hurry, you'll find a fast food joint nearby.

Can't think of a single thing to complain about here. Amazing food at unbeatable prices. Extremely friendly service. Every time we've been the experience has been perfect. If you're in town or just passing through, Lipka's is a MUST visit

Awesome atmosphere, nice and efficient service. Ice cream and sodas are out of this world and super classic!! Food is good but definitely more there for dessert 😋 prices are great!

A group of 5-8 women have coffee here once a week. Patty is so welcoming. Service is spot on and cute and friendly atmosphere.

HOW could anyone, ever say something negative about this place? It's a blast from the past and a labor of Love, that we are lucky to be a part of. Highly recommend!

We always love to visit. It's the oldest operating soda fountain in Michigan; great for history AND ice cream lovers! Very nostalgic with great staff! Definitely spend a while talking to the owner...she's fantastic!!

A local treasure! Will transport you back in time. Wonderful owner. We had such a nice chat. Soda float, ice cream, and phosphate drinks were perfect.
