Timbers Inn Restaurant & Tavern

A great place to grab food and catch up with friends. We were able to get a table without waiting on a Wednesday night around 5:30.

I ordered the fish and chips which comes with either a salad or soup. I got the chilli and it was large enough to be it's own meal. Both the chilli and fish and chips were good. We ended the night with their chocolate peanut butter cake (not the actual name).

They also offer half off most of their wines on Wednesday.

Food was really good and the service was friendly but our waitress forgot to put in our order for the shareable and it quite the wait for her to return to take our order. we understand everything is higher priced now due to the economy and rising cost for staffing..but my dish, lemon chicken quinoa, could have been sized more proportionately for the cost. We will definitely go back as it was a good experience would recommend checking them out!

Rustic, hunting and fishing decor with seasonal additions. Good food with some wild game choices, steak, burgers, fish, pizzas and more. Good service and a relaxed atmosphere.

My husband and I traveled about an hour to have Valentine's Day dinner tonight . What an experience! The food was phenomenal... Very fresh and diverse ! The service was impeccable, Kylie was very good !

Food was fabulous, we met the chef: Pesto, pasta perfect. And Cassie, our server - a real rock star 🌟 Fresh fruit fabulous, all right next to the fireplace🍸 with a group of 8 and 🍾 champagne.

We did the Thanksgiving take and bake and it was incredible! Not only well thought out (all the dishes were packed perfectly, easy to fit in the oven together, simple instructions on how to cook everything) but they all tasted great! The meat was tender and juicy, the sides were well seasoned. I was very impressed and hope they do a Christmas one as well.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, and boy was it quick! Had our food in about 5 minutes. I ordered the gyro and fries; food was fresh and delicious. Kirsten was very prompt, polite and attentive. Great ambiance as well. Look forward to coming back soon.

Excellent! Our waitress was friendly, timely, and helpful with her recommendations. I have food intolerances and her knowledge made me confident I could enjoy my meal. The ribs were cooked to perfection, tender, juicy and fell right off the bone.

Everything was fantastic! Our waitress was so helpful and had a great sense of humor. The wine was great and our meal was even better. The steak and ribs were fan favorites. Would definitely recommend!

This is our new favorite restaurant! The best food, service, atmosphere! The chips and cheese, hamburger, elk burger, shepherds wild animal pie, cheesecake, and carrot cake were incredible!

Timbers is the best hidden gem in Grand Rapids!! If you haven’t checked it out— the fall is the perfect time to do so!! The atmosphere and ambience are equal parts cozy and relaxing. We sat by the fireplace and had an amazing evening! We started out with the Buffalo wraps- let’s just say we also got an order to go!! DELISH!!! For dinner I had the beef stroganoff, which tasted like a meal my mom would have made as a special birthday treat (my fav)!! I’m thrilled we found this place and we are already planning our next visit!! Well done, Timbers!!!

Loved the cabin feel here. It was cozy and reminded me of where I grew up. Food is great. Would definitely recommend.

The fire burning made for great atmosphere. The salted Carmel cake was absolutely Devine. Jambalaya was on point as well as the shrimp and grits. Will definitely be back again to enjoy those dishes again. They also had amazing bluegill. We wanted to take pictures of the food but when it got to the table we couldn't wait 3 seconds to take the picture we just had to dig right in.

We came in at 9 PM on a Monday night and felt bad because we wanted to have a late dinner but the staff was so welcoming!!! we were totally blown away! The atmosphere made my yooper fiancé feel right at home, they had this really cool antler chandelier and tons of woods themed decor. Everything was so delicious and reasonably priced. Our server Marcia was awesome. We feel really lucky that we found this place and can’t wait to come back and sit outside.

My husband and I came in recently and ordered the Walleye sandwich and Buffalo burger. Our favs! So good. Our server, Alex was attentive and personable. He made us feel welcomed and not just a number. Timbers has a great atmosphere and we enjoy eating there! We will be back!
