The place was dope, they had security so I felt safe. Nachos were meh otherwise an amazing time!

I have yet to have food there, so I can't rate that. However, if the food is anything like the atmosphere, service or drinks, it'll be solid. I work a lot of shows with IPW and this venue ALWAYS treats us well! 💯

Attended the battle of the bands event this past Friday evening, and the acoustics in the backroom exceeded my expectations. The sound was well-balanced, and it was really neat to see a variety of different acts, especially Dead People Park, who had quite a unique Shoegazey vibe. All of the staff were attentive, and the food was pretty aight too (had a chicken quesadilla yummm)!

Went in for dinner and had to try their restaurant week drink and it didnt disappoint. Neptune's Rings was everything delicious, and it was left just the right taste on the tongue to leave you wanting more.

Really enjoy this place, the atmosphere is exactly how it needs to be for the bar that it is. Not fancy and it isn’t supposed to be, the drinks are good and the pool tables are plentiful. Lots of TVs and sports on somewhere. Food menu is simple and but has what you want at a place that’s a step or so above a dive bar and made well. Try the brats and fries that come with a delicious spiced pickle spear. Gotta just get myself here more often to become a regular!

Awesome place!!! I was here recently from a post-event after party (K-Zoo Roller Derby). Tasty food and great drinks! Highly recommended to
all visiting Kalamazoo and attending local events (WMU, Wings Center).

Over the years I was stopping in to pick up people and never had the pleasure to eat. But last night I had their chilli and it was so good and so filling

Traveling and just wanted a nice salad for dinner. I called the pub next to the hotel, I couldn't find a menu online so I just asked for a grilled chicken salad, fairly basic..and they happily obliged. I get there to pick up and pay for it, thinking nothing of checking (which is unlike me). I also ask for a to-go menu, this looked like a decent place, I might go back. Anyway the server proceeds to tell me this particular salad wasn't on the menu, but they did it anyway. So that was nice. Then, I get back to the hotel and open it up to find this! That cook took a little time to care about this grilled chicken salad. Thanks! It was perfect ❣

One of Kalamazoo natives' favorite bars in town. There's always such a lively atmosphere, tons of arcade games, pool, and a spot to play corn hole out back in the outdoor patio, which is my personal favorite spot here. You can always expect your bartender to be a little rough around the edges, and the same can be said of the patrons, but for me that's just part of the charm. Drinks are always a good price, and the hotdogs slap! Great local bar if you want to have a night out with lots of energy in the air!

She turned me down.
Now I travel on my yacht in the Bahamas full time. Frequently, I think about this place, I miss it more than the pretty lady.

Ruggers up-and-under is a great sports bar full of great number of billion. And there's a lot going on pool tournaments all types of stuff love the environment. Just check it out for yourself

Definitely my type of place. Plenty of room for pool darts, music taste is on spot. Beer price is perfect. I love this place everytimeni come to Michigan.

Love the place but then I am a ex rugby player . Know the owner and the team hangs out there. Good bar food. Prices are reasonable. Pool tabels. Basketball game and a shuffleboard table . Good sports bar. Many TV s some even at your booth

Good after bar to go to. When you're done with your favorite regular bar "UP'S" is a good place to go. Love playing pool and the jukebox. Friendly staff and pretty good drink specials. Not the strongest drinks, but by that time nobody seems to really care.

Up & Under is my favorite local bar. It's a nice, chill spot to hangout full of regulars. Great service and good people. The owners, Heinz and Norine are 2 of the best owners in the city.

Great burgers, great vibe, Bonnie is the bomb!

6/2023 update: Still true. Yet to meet John Stamos.

bartenders are friendly, kitchen is clean as hell, and the food is great! i love what the new owners have done with Ups :)
