Pricey, but the ladies that work here are with the friendship

Friendly staff, but the iced coffee tastes extremely bitter in my opinion, almost burnt. I tend to get a cold brew coffee with a pump of syrup in it, and add a little half and half, I find it tastes better than their usual, to order flavored coffees. Their coffee of the week though has its ups, with the cake batter iced coffee being very delicious. Overall, I tend to prefer going to the Einsteins Bagels in the Taylor Center for my breakfast and coffee.

Great coffee! Though the line does become absurdly long when it is most convenient to get it.

Horrible service. I'm never going back.

I walked up to the counter today, asked for an iced flavored coffee, and instead received an iced black coffee with a shitton of pumpkin syrup in it. I took it back to the counter, and asked the woman working, "excuse me, but I think we had a misunderstanding. I just wanted your daily flavored coffee over ice."

The woman replied "yeah, well you didn't communicate that to me." I said "well, I'm really sorry, but I just asked for your flavored coffee over ice. I didn't want any syrup in it." She said "we don't do that here." (I get this drink regularly).

I was a bit confused, and said "you don't do that here? I get this here all the time. I just want your flavored coffee, of the day. but iced."

She goes "if you have a problem, talk to my manager."

So I said "well...may I please have a warm cup of flavored coffee and a glass of ice, please?" Then she said, "if you want to pay for the extra cup," and rudely refused to give me a refund or make me another drink. I even tried to explain to her that I'm a barista, too (I have been for the past three years), and how incredibly easy of a situation this was to fix. When come to work, I am expected to provide quality service and treat customers kindly and respectfully. I expect that miscommunication or mix-ups can and do happen, and if so, I will happily offer to correct the mistake and the provide the customer with the drink they paid for. I definitely did not receive that service today, and was shocked and how rudely I was treated. I will not return.
