I came here to get my oil changed and I was helped out immediately by Wally. I had it done for a good price and would recommend this place to any student or person in Mankato. I also felt valued as a customer and was shown great customer service.

Wally is amazing. My car broke down after spring break and I have to go back home for an interview in a time crunch and he got it done for me! He also knows that we are students and did it for a very good price! For someone who is not from the area and needs a mechanic I would highly consider him! He is very caring and considerate of my situation!

Wally has been extremely helpful and fair-minded regarding his service and his total $$. My daughter's car needed new brakes and a new windshield and he was able to take care of this quickly and efficiently. I recommend him to anyone and will definitely contact him again with any service or repairs.

Wally has been extremely helpful to my family member with learning disability explaining what the issue was and why the cost was what it was. He also communicated to me so I could help my family member in understanding.
He has been wonderful to work with and help us come up with a preventative maintenance plan to ensure the car is maintained properly.

Not my car, but I dropped off my roommates car for a needed replacement of the serpentine belt. I explained to the mechanic (Wally) that there may be some possible other issues with the car, but he took it all in stride and explained that he would do a full check of the car and would reach out with the quote of what my roommate would have to pay for the service before he started any work on the car. Also offered to drive the car up to campus for her! Super great customer service, very kind and understanding of my roommate being a college student, and she got an amazing price for what was fixed. Would recommend to any student in the area that this is the auto shop to go to for good service, constant communication, and to feel like you're being treated like a person.

Last year I had a ton of work to be done on my car. All breaks needed to be replaced , my cars alignment was needed to be fixed and I needed my toe rods replaced. At any normal franchise auto shop this would’ve costed a fortune but Wally at Rock Street gave me a fare price and helped me out greatly as I am a college kid. They also did it in one day and I was in and out of there. A year later , I decided to check on their oil change prices instead of going to Valvoline. Again, they provided me a quick service at such a great price. I would highly recommend.

Such a great experience here. Owner came to meet me when my car wouldn’t start and gave me a fair price for everything that I needed. Service was fast and my car has been running smooth ever since. My go-to auto service shop!

My fuel pump took a dump on the highway and called Rock Street Auto about the issue . I had called 3 places before this to compare prices but Wally said he would diagnose for free as long as I had my car brought there. After he looked quickly he confirmed my suspicion on the fuel pump, and I asked for a quote which turned out to be reasonable. Wally strikes me as a very straight shooter so we ho ahead and he starts it the same day. Recieved a video from Wally showing me my struts or what was left of one and he explained what they should look like and on the video showed me why I needed them. He wasn't trying to upsell me,, he was just saying it out of safety. Very impressed with every aspect of the deal. Thank you Rock Street Auto. Highly-qualified and highly recommended!

This place should be your go-to! It was recommended by a family friend to me when I suddenly needed some major help with my brakes. I called in and Wally told me to bring it in whenever I can. I brought it in at 11:20am and it was done and ready to go just a little after 2pm, and it wasn't the smallest fix neccessarily.
Very friendly and helpful service, it really took the stress out of what can be such a stressful time. Highly recommend!
