First time in Mankato, and this is the first cafe I visited while waiting for my nephew taking ACT test at a high school nearby. Love the ambience here, very artistic. Great coffee & delicious breakfast. The breakfast burritos (with sour cream and salsa) and their egg & cheese are highly recommended.

Excellent breakfast burrito. The atmosphere is impeccable, the kind of place you can happily spend an hour drinking, eating, and chatting with a friend.

Art, great coffee, delicious food, nice people. LOVE their coffee and staff. Our favorite foods there are the breakfast burritos (yummy with sour cream and salsa) and their cashew egg sandwich (perfect for enjoying outside on a nice day). We love hanging out for a coffee and sometimes there's music or poetry too - bonus! Make it your place too!

Whenever I stop through Mankato I LOVE stopping by Coffee Hag. Try the chai latte! They make their own chai mix of masala spices in-house and it tastes so much better than other coffee houses that use a generic powdered mix. There’s ample seating and it’s a great hangout. Service is quick and friendly, and it’s a place where you can be your truest self.

I ordered an iced turtle latte, I'm a bit picky when it comes to coffee and I thought it was really good. Its not too sweet, nice balance of cream and coffee flavor. Also got a coffee cake and apple muffin, those were really delicious. Also got to mention how sweet the barista was, she was super friendly, polite, and helpful. I also really loved that the entire place was turned into an art piece by a local photographer!

Amazing coffee, amazing baked goods and a down to earth atmosphere! Service is top-notch as well.
So come and grab a cup of joe and chill.

Stopped in for a quick Americano on my way out of town. Great place! Loved the coffee and the baked goods are out of this world. Great, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Go! Support great people doing great things for the world!

Most relaxing, friendly, and art-filled coffee shop in Mankato! Great place to grab a delicious drink, meet friends, study, or listen to/look at local art/music!

This place is awesome. I got a Cold Brew and my wife got an Americano. Super good coffee. It was also a super cool atmosphere. The big chairs were puffy and comfortable. The exposed brick was beautiful and the art was super cool. We don't live nearby but decided we will be back anyway. We were there at closing so we didn't get to spend too much time, which was disappointing because we didn't want to leave. Only thing I'd change would be later hours! Super nice being represented here too. Go here. It's great.

Great place where everyone is accepted and respected. Coffee's excellent and I had a great cashew egg salad sandwich. I wish I was hungrier because the soup today was squash. It's one of my favorites.

Ordered a Mayan Sun coffee and sun-dried tomato quiche. Also purchased coffee beans which they ground for me. Excellent spot. Stop in today!

This place was great!! Staff where incredibly friendly and really helpful in choosing a drink for me! The burritos where crispy and tasted amazing and it smelled so good with all the fresh baked pastries! The cafe also looked really cool and had great decor!

This place is FANTASTIC. The coffee is outstanding and the decorations are really cool. They have all gender bathrooms and signs of equality all over. The staff is really nice and helpful. I had a Frozen Turtle Mocha & it was yummy! I would highly recommend. #SafePlace 🏳‍🌈

While you might think the excellent service and ambiance is responsible for the 5 stars (and it could be on its own), but the real hero here is the coffee. The foam on my 16 oz. Craft Latte couldn't be creamier, and the beans offer a crisp and robust flavor. Beautiful decor. Beautiful coffee. 5 stars.

This place will be my place when I am in the area. Amazing coffee. We had white chocolate mocha with lavender w/ extra shot. Delicious

This place is a Mankato staple for a reason! Very friendly atmosphere for when you want to slow down and have a good coffee experience that Caribou/Starbuck/Dunkin cannot achieve. The coffee is always good here, but I have to emphasize the hospitality of the staff here. While walking in Old Downtown on a hot day, we stopped in for an iced drink to cool off. After ordering, we realized neither of us brought a wallet to pay. Just as we were about to cancel our order and leave, the staff member gave us our drinks and told us to pay later (which of course we did). Very good business!

We love the vibes in this coffee shop. The drinks are really good. My favorites are the dirty chai and the cold brew. The food is pretty good too with quite a variety of options available. The staff is very friendly and there is plenty of seating, including a few spots to plug in a device. And they have clean restrooms.
