El Potrero Mexican Restaurant

I really really enjoyed our order the other day. I had a chicken enchilada that was so amazing. It had guacamole, lettuce, tomato, and rice. It was the best thing I have had from there yet. And my husband gets there ground beef wet burrito. I recommend their restaurant to everyone. It is one of the best Mexican restaurants around.

First time here and will not be our last. Great cozy restaurant with authentic Mexican food. Super friendly and great staff. We shared the Nachos Deluxe and they were the best. Stop by if you are in Lake City and see for yourself. We will be back.

Very delicious! We moved back home from Oklahoma and I was going to miss “real” Mexican food and was amazed on how amazing this place was. 10/10!!! Tamales 🫔 on point! Burrito was just as great!

A cozy lottle Mexican restaurant right on the main street of lake city. Menu titles were in Spanish but the description was in English. Really good authentic Mexican cuisine. Large partions and friendly staff.

I Love the food here. But what I love just as much as the food is the location that you can eat right outside on the water and watch the sunset. It's a very beautiful lake and the restaurant has a great location for there guests to eat right outside there restaurant. You can go inside and order or order from the outside at the outside window for take out. However you want. It's your choice but it's a beautiful place won't regret going here. Food is always good been there many times has never let me down.

El Potrero is always a good choice! I have Celiac disease and have eaten here multiple times with no issues. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the food is excellent and the drinks are awesome.

Excellent Mexican cuisine is what you will find here,one of the best I've found in Northern Michigan. The service is very good and the atmosphere is quite authentic. You won't go wrong in choosing this restaurant. I almost always choose the Fajitas,as that is my favorite plate.

Great place to eat. They have a menu with many good options. They food is always very good.

I've only eaten in the place a couple of times but I will say that the food is excellent and the waiter was really on the ball and very friendly. Their prices are right on par with most Mexican dining restaurants too. They have great lunch options for great prices as well.

Yum! Best authentic Mexican in the North! Have never walked away disappointed.

Good food with a cozy atmosphere.

Our party of 5 and a Standard Poodle really challenged the wait staff and they succeeded in taking excellent care of us. We ate outside at a picnic table, at the park, and we really had a delicious feast! The Ladies had Lunch Taco Salads and my husband had Fajitas.
