Absolutely amazing 👏 the homemade tastes of the breads meats veggies and sauces are so delicious. As well as the homemade baked goods scones,brownies. I can't wait to try more items when I go back. Which is sooner then later. Wonderful service atmosphere and can't ask for a better experience wish I could rate it higher.

Definitely a great find I never knew existed when I was traveling around. Also creating different dishes with lots of flavor. Will be telling all I know to go for sure. Thank you for a great meal and enjoying beautiful foods again.

Amazing baked goods. The cream cheese cinnamon rolls were almost as good as Mom's. The also had vegan choices which were amazing for my dairy free daughter. There were also gluten free options though we did not partake. The coffee was fine, my wife's latte wasn't mine blowing by any means, but anything to drink here is going to play second fiddle to the baked goods.

It's 1969. I'm back in Saigon. I've been out of the bush for too long, I'm getting soft. I'm sitting in a cafe eating a sandwich...
Wait. It's 2023. I'm in Lake City. Why am I having flashbacks to the Vietnam War, I'm only 41... because I just ate the Banh Mi Roll at 2 The Moon Bakery, and it was crafted to such an authentic degree that I was transported to the other side of this planet.
The quality of ingredients, the purposeful marriage of flavors, and the care with which the food is prepared at this unassuming gem in downtown Lake City are world-class. I've only scratched the surface of the sandwich menu, but I ain't leaving Northern Michigan until I've tried them all.
Don't like sandwiches? Well, seek therapy, but also take your pick from the exquisite array of baked goods that rival any Parisienne patisserie.
Don't enjoy delectable sweets? I weep for you, but at least buy a loaf of bread. Be warned, you might think it won't happen, but there's a high likelihood that you'll down the whole loaf with a stick of Irish butter in one sitting.
I don't know where these yahoos materialized from, but whoever they are, they are masters of their craft, and 2 The Moon Bakery is a gift to this community.
It's been two hours since I had lunch there, and I am heavily considering going back for a second time today.

Absolutely delicious food and sweet treats after eating lunch there. This is a small, homey cafe with great made from scratch soups and sandwiches and even healthy vegetarian bowls. The coffee is as good as Starbucks if not better. What a jewel we found in Lake City as we were heading upstate.

Food + service was exceptional. We loved their breakfast sandwiches, drinks, and baked goods. They also sell their bread; we bought two loaves of sourdough.

The best bakery Lake City has ever had! Chocolate croissant must be tasted to be believed, the scones are dense and crumbly, lemon poppyseed muffin is great with a lovely glaze, and the white bread is fluffy but not too dry, and the subtle flavor is perfect.

Rye bread is great.
Sourdough is great.
Soups are great.

Have yet to take a bad bite from here!

Truly a gem in Lake City. Nice atmosphere, great staff that went over the menu and were super polite. Great Great breakfast the best in town. I highly recommend stopping here !

Your bakery is lovely and so glad you're open on Sunday when we often drive through town, but let's get to the real 5 star rating..your sourdough bread is absolutely off the charts perfect!!!😍😍😍😍 Crispy top crust dense chewy bottom crust and and billowy butter slathering bread in between the two.

Absolutely delicious and a cozy space! We got really tasty butternut squash soup with grilled cheese. Everything tastes so fresh and the bread is to die for.

Stopped here when on the way to Mackinac Island and omg!! Best breakfast sandwich ever and reasonably priced?? Look how cute this is- it could actually be from a movie 😍 And yes it tastes amazing as well ☺

Had the biscuits and gravy. DELICIOUS!! Not going to remove a star but there should be a time limit to how long you can sit in the indoor dining area. Some people were finished with their breakfast/lunch and were just sitting there while other folks had to find alternative seating. Sitting outside on nearby Main Street and having the big heavy trucks drive by and smelling diesel fuel was not pleasant.

I come here for the vegan pastries. So far each time I’ve visited they only have one vegan option which is a scone. The vegan scones are absolutely delightful and I am grateful they offer a vegan option however I can’t help but wish they had more! The lattes are delicious as well.

Visit every so often, but LOVE everything we've tried every visit! Today I took Mom out for lunch. I had the Italian sandwich, Mom had to Corned Beef. Both were amazing! Best Italian I'd had in years! We also tried the Blueberry Coconut Sweet Tea (seasonal item) and Mom and I both loved it! Cookies and croissants are delicious! Highly recommended!

Fabulous as always. We picked up a custom cake (raspberry chocolate), delicious scones, ramp potato soup, and a loaf of fresh baked bread. Everything was delicious!

A very warm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly customer focused service. The food is not the ordinary fare but extraordinary and the baked goods are as well. Such a welcome addition to our town. The sour dough bread is the best I have EVER had. The scones are among my favorite treats. Get there early because items go fast!

Quaint french-inspired bakery with delicious breads, scones, croissants and good coffee. We always make a stop on our way through Lake City, MI. Vegan options.

The best chocolate croissant I have had outside of Paris! The first scones I have truly enjoyed and now understand why a scone with Coffee is a treat. The perfect balance of sweetness in their pastries. Ham and cheese croissant is so savory and wonderful and a full breakfast in itself. Bread is great to take home. Coffee is good not great. My only problem is I can just never get one pastry. We visit every weekend we are in town.
