I was looking for a unique food experience to take a friend to while I was visiting him with my family. I was not disappointed. It is a small place but with a great simple dining room with lots of charm. We were greeted immediately and were seated immediately. The menu was simple but very creative. Try their homemade hot chocolate! As well as their different ice tea blends. My coffee drinking family members enjoyed their beverages as well. The food was cooked perfectly and arrived in a timely manner. It was wonderful. Staff were warm and friendly. The cafe has its own small bakery and I brought home a loaf of their fresh cranberry walnut sourdough bread. Only regret - that I did not take the other loaf home as well! Great breakfast/brunch/lunch place! A must when in the area!

What a wonderful gem tucked away in Wilton!

The cafe area is converted farm house rooms, charming, and decorated with art from a local artist who apparently frequents the cafe. I really liked the artwork.

We were served by a young man who was very friendly and informative about the history of the place.

Great variety in their menu options; my friend and I shared the spinach and egg crepe and the mixed berry crepe, both were delicious.

It was a perfect brunch and thus deserving a perfect review.

My new favorite spot! The food and drinks were great and make the visit worth it on their own, but the outdoor seating took it to the next level. All tables are shaded and overlooking a beautiful property. With nice weather, you really can’t find a better place.

I highly recommend setting a reservation before heading over to make sure you aren’t waiting long for a table.

I also recommend the breakfast tacos and berry french toast. That have really great coffee and fresh lemonade.

Absolutely charming farmhouse cafe with delicious foods. The lavender late served in their cute mugs was so good! There is some free parking and outdoor seating. Remote but very peaceful.
The staff was super nice, too! Highly recommended!

Beautiful place to enjoy breakfast.

Stumbled upon this place by our host's recommendation during our stay in Wilton. Attached to a farm, the place had a rustic vibe, and all the staff seemed friendly. We initially expected to find a classic American diner menu but were surprised to see that they also had a mix of Latin American cuisines. We got the paella breakfast bowl, lemon berry french toast, and the rustic chicken and biscuits, and all were fantastic for the price.

Highly recommend visiting this place if you're around Wilton, but make sure to make a reservation via phone at least a day in advance.

We like to think of ourselves as breakfast fanatics and we have tried many places in the central Massachusetts and southern New Hamphire region. This place ranks among the very best! We went with our 7 year old daughter who loved the banana and nutella crepes! I had the llapingacho which was such a unique dish I had to try it. The potato pancakes were so light but hearty and the peanut sauce was outstanding. My wife had the goat cheese and caramelized onion omelet which she described as the "best omelet" she's ever had. She got the lavander latte which was delicious and I got the nerve tonic tea which came in a cast iron pot. The tea was perfectly steeped and the presentation was beautiful! Our daughter got the fresh lemonade which was not too sweet and very refreshing. The staff there were genuinely kind and seemed passionate about what they were serving. Everything about this establishment was authentic from the decor to the tables. I can't say enough about what a great experience this was from the moment we walked in till we left this beautiful farmhouse setting. We look forward to coming back.

Always amazing food, prices are market competitive, and we always see great people here. The staff are wonderful and so accommodating!

Try the breakfast sandwich on a biscuit “with everything”, or truly anything else- you can’t go wrong! Lattes are 10/10 as well. They have great seasonal flavors and always quality ingredients for all their items.

Delicious! Such interesting options. The breakfast tacos were so good! Picked up some pastries to take home. You can sit inside or outside. Super casual.

First thing to know - we came on a Sunday and were informed that they may not have a table for us because they had reservations. Luckily, the gals working made space for us. Thank you, ladies 😊 Consider calling ahead.

Second thing - there's limited parking next to the farm house. There's parking just across the street from the restaurant.

Hilltop feels like you're eating at someone's home, 10/10 for atmosphere. The ladies working couldn't be nicer. The service is courteous and quick.

Portions are large and prices are incredibly fair.

I got the Llapingachos, which are potato pancakes smothered in peanut sauce. Not only would I order the exact same thing again, I'm going to have to try making these at home.

Bathroom is located off the kitchen behind the counter. Nice and clean.

There's a farm store outside and the cows are just beyond that.

Go. Out. Of. Your. Way.

All I can say is WOW! I ordered the mixed berry crepe and it is honestly the best one I have ever had! My partner got the French toast and he said he has never been so satisfied from French toast alone. Everything was just so fresh and tasty. There wasn’t a single morsel left! We also got to sit outside to eat which only enhanced the experience that much more. We will definitely be back!

This is a very rare 5 star for me. We absolutely love this place. Small place on a farm. We come here twice a month (at least). Small menu (a good thing, in my opinion). My fiancé LOVES their lattes. Pastries are a nice grab on the way out. It is a country setting, but it totally fits the place. We can't say how much we love this place.

This place is worth a road trip from the city - incredibly fresh veggies and dairy, awesome atmosphere, and super interesting menu. The tacos have freaking cheese baked into the shell. Will definitely go out of our way to come here again

(Backgammon not included, but encouraged)

I was invited by a client out to coffee and had no idea what kind of adventure I was in for. The drive was beautiful windy roads, and the atmosphere surrounding the establishment was stunning. The staff were all very friendly, engaging, and charming. I felt like everyone there had already been a friend for years. I had a delicious cortado and promised to return again.

The food and atmosphere was wonderful, there was something a little salty in the Huevos Rancheros but my tea was brewed perfectly. We sat outside and watched the cows.

Hilltop is a gem. You can't beat the bucolic New England farm scenery and the food is wonderful. Highly recommend the Llapingachos, french toast, and huevos rancheros.

A must visit when you’re anywhere near the Wilton area. We’ve been back several times and look forward to returning soon. All dishes are delicious, all drinks are delicious, and the staff are just super nice. Oh don’t forget to visit the cows, chickens, geese, turkeys, and fowls just across the street from the cafe. Also buy some tasty fresh farm food from the farm store. Love love Hilltop Cafe at the Temple-Wilton Community Farm.

Very deliscious! Farm atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. Had a nice cup of hot chocolate complete with whipped cream and chocolate shaken over it. Food was perfect! LLAPINGACHOS and paella! 😊

Hilltop Cafe is cozy, quaint, and very unique. I enjoyed a lavender latte and Llapingachos. Will definitely be returning to try lunch and dinner! My only qualm is that they didn't sell their coffee mugs because I wanted one to take home with me so bad they were beautiful!
