Iguana's Mexican Street Café

Having been from Milwaukee and had the pleasure of enticing myself with authentic mexican food, i can say, without a doubt that this is the best in the area. The flavor of the rice, beans, chicken, steak, ect all have that oh so lovely mexican authentic flavor that will have me going back for more. I have had other local spots such as senior villia and im telling you this little hole in the wall resturant beats them in quality and flavor.

Came down from the twin cities to visit my mom in Caledonia and my 17yo daughter found this place while thumbing through the internet. I was sketchy about it at first cause I've had bad experiences at Mexican restaurants but OMG what a surprise this place was!! Super fresh ingredients lots of flavor and the nicest people you'd ever meet. I had the Iguana-chiladas and devoured it!
No greasy residue no heartburn and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend Iguanas and would visit again. My only problem is that they don't have an Iguanas Mexican street food location in St. Paul, MN.

If you are looking for some great Mexican food in the area, look no more.
If you don't like spicy food, get the queso dip burrito with chicken. Without a question the best burrito I've ever had.
Prices are great. I'm a big eater and I'm be full and very happy for around $10
Everyone I've ever taken here raves about how great the food was.
Also, the staff are amazing. The waitress that I usually see working is one of the most friendly people I have ever met.

I loved this place! Super close to campus and really good price for what you get! The food was super delicious and it was brought out quickly. I wish there was more seating inside... other than that it was perfect. Will be coming back for lunch soon!!!

We absolutely love their food! I grew up along the southern boarder. If you're looking for authentic Mexican, check out Iguanas. The staff and owner are also awesome and down to earth.

This restaurant one of my favorite places to go because of how great the food is. One of my favorite things about Iguana’s is the atmosphere. It looks very nice with all of the displays around the restaurant. The TV in Iguana’s is also not blaring the show because the volume is all the off and there are subtitles. All in all this is one of my favorite restaurants to go too. 5/5 stars!

The food and service at Iguana's are simply amazing. Ingredients are always fresh and high quality and the flavors are divine. Their homemade hot sauces are delicious and complement the food perfectly and their cheese sauce is out of this world. They treat regulars like family and it's hard to not to fall in love with this place and the people who run it!

Delicious! We have come here many times. The food is so amazing and the staff are as well. The owners are really nice and Friendly. If you get the chance to go here do it. You won't regret it.

Iguana's is one of my favorite restaurants in La Crosse. The food is excellent and priced quite well. Their chips and queso are absolutely fantastic. I've had the chicken wraps and they've always been good. The salsa is very good, too.

The building is very small and they have roughly five tables that can seat up to four people per table. But most tables accommodate two or three people. Because of this, you should prepare to take your food somewhere else even if you intend to stay at the restaurant.

Despite the dining room shortcomings, the food is excellent and it is a must-try.

Went online, menu items I selected via google food or something idk it’s new haven’t seen it before tonight we’re “no longer available”. I was not to be denied though! Who could be after the quote of another review that explicitly stated “best place to eat in Lacrosse, Wisconsin”.

I’m glad I didn’t ignore my instincts. The ladies upfront were pleasant and friendly.

Food. Was. Phenomenal!!!!!!!!

Ordered taco salad, fish chimi. Best authentic Mexican food in the area! Great prices. Sorry no pictures, we ate it before we could take any. Highly recommended!

Amazing Mexican food, friendly staff. The place has only a handful of tables, so you might have a long wait during lunch hours, but it's well worth it. Being so small is actually part of the charm this place has. Highly recommended.

Best mexican food I've had in a long time. Food was fresh and very flavorful. Waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. 5 stars does not do it justice. Don't let the tiny whole in the wall appearance fool you!

Excellent!! 1st time I've eaten there.Their shrimp tacos are really good. And their hot sauce is yummy. I'll be taking my grandsons there when they want Mexican next.

Just fantastic food. Worth every penny. First thing is you walk into the shop and you don't know what to expect but it's cozy and welcoming. The food is genuine and not an Americanized version of Mexican food. A++

Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. Service was great and the burritos were off the charts good. Do yourself a freaking solid and go get yourself some.

An excellent Mexican "cafe" that focuses on quality and freshness. It's goal is not to be like many cheap Mexican "restaurants" that give you way too much chips, salsa, beans & rice - instead it is a great value with all homemade items. A true neighborhood restaurant that has proven itself for years (hard to believe it has been that long). Glad they now offer beer, wine & wine-a-ritas (try & you will like). There is room in LaCrosse for more successful NEW restaurants like this!

By far the best food in La Crosse. The queso dip burrito is to die for, along with the fish tacos. I have not found anything like it or as good anywhere else. I legit will crave their food for days on end; even after moving out of the area.

Not to mention, the owners and cooks are the coolest people! I definitely recommend eating at Iguanas and making it your favorite go to Mexican food in La Crosse.

Food was delish...if you have to be quarantined thank God we have a great place to get super food. My tummy is happy! The chicken mushroom burrito was so so good!
