Festival Foods

As others have noted, Festival's prices tend to be on the high end. Still, I come to this location frequently, and I try to buy the items that are on sale. The best aspects of this store are the cleanliness and the staff. The customer service is the best of any grocery store in the area. The staff does an excellent job of keeping the store organized and ensuring items are easy to find.

The hot bar has good chicken strips and potato wedges if you go early! They also have sushi! They have a good donut selection! And a good salad bar!

Deshaun in the wine/ smokes section is amazing, I’m new to the area and he made me feel welcome as well as starting a great conversation. All around great guy and worker, hope to see him around.

I hear people say from time to time that festival is more expensive than others.. That only depends on what your looking for. Festival prices I find to be fair and if I'm looking for the best of the best prices around I'd expect. But for a less congestive experience, shop your local Festival store. 🏪

I was supporting a group of travelling bike riders over the weekend and I walked in right at 5 am when they opened and proceeded to get the cashier's help in finding a number of random, obscure items. The cashier was extremely patient and helped me track down each one of them and never lost his patience with me despite the randomness of the items and the early hour. He was chipper and ready to work and I left there feeling really appreciative of the staff. This location in particular was TOP NOTCH.

Just moved to La Crosse, WI. Festival store is organized differently from how H-E-B is, so took me a while to find what I needed. Yet their organization did make some senses. What really got me was when I was checking out that they have two lane conveyors. In which customers bag their own groceries too. I could see the employee watching another customer and I bag our groceries to help her determine which check out conveyor to move the next customers groceries too. Other than that, the employees and customers are very friendly.

Only gripe is that the organic produce is often old and I'm a little wary of their seafood counter at times. Love the floral and plants selection for quick gifts. Great ready made meals and deli variety. Very clean store! I love the cardboard collection bin and plastic bag recycling in the front of the store. Convenience around every corner...it justifies the higher prices for me.

I had Ali from the bakery make the cake for my son's graduation, and I can't express enough how much she exceeded my expectations. Great job to Ali and everyone in the bakery!!

This week I was working with Annie on getting a cake decorated for a double birthday celebration at my place of work. This lady knocked it out of the park! With only a two day notice, she took the details I provided, and far exceeded my expectations. 11/10. Thank you Annie!!

I love Festival because they have some things that I can't find elsewhere. Awesome variety in the cheese section and the deli. Deli prices are a little spendy but the food is always good. Nice variety overall and the staff are always so pleasant and helpful.

Bright, clean and fresh. Staff is friendly and helpful. This grocery store is a little more expensive than others in the area, but you are getting staff that is ready and willing to help, a super clean and organized store, beautiful produce and great presentation of the fresh meats and fruits/veggies. I also am taking advantage of the online shopping and have never been disappointed.

Tom, he was such a kind person! I didn't even realize anyone was paying attention to me, but he really did. He saw me giving the lady behind me front line and also directing another to a open register. He was the gentleman that bagged my food. I was only shopping! He generously offered to pay a couple of dollars towards my purchase. I refused, but he did it anyways. I know $2 is nothing for most people, but it's the thought that counts. Now that puts a smile on my face♡

Very high-end very very clean it's a bit snooty for me... My wife loves the place... I don't particularly like the 5-10 rule... And when I say clean I mean very clean .. bathrooms are always a well maintained and clean... Everything is neatly organized and well laid out, The Meat department is excellent but a bit pricey.. you can drop your clean carboard off on the front.. They should have a place for aluminum cans.. Produce is always fresh.. The family that owns the place is of high integrity... And very helpful to the community...

Very helpful employees in finding items in the store. He escorted me right to where I could find it on the shelf.

Best seafood selection. Fresh vegetables are fresh! Advertised and unadvertised sales make up for some mark ups. I highly recommend this store.
