The Dork Den

Only been in here a few times. I bought an xacto knife once. The staff was friendly and the store was clean. Glad mankato has been able to support it all these years.

This is a fantastic local game and comic book shop. They have expanded their board game selection in the last few years and now have almost any game you could think of! Helpful staff will give recommendations and place special orders so that you get exactly what you want! We shop here frequently for gifts and to add to our own game collection.

I used to live in Mankato, but right before I moved away, the Dork Den opened their doors for business. Every time I come back to town for a visit, I always make a point to stop by the DD and, at the very least, pick up some dice if not something more. I love this place, and some day when I move back to town, I hope they're still going strong!

It was fun going in and the staff were very friendly. I was looking for pokeman cards and ahow my son how to play and the guy there was supper helpful.

Largest selection and biggest in store play area in Southern Minnesota. Clean, family friendly, and knowledgeable. Great Pokémon and Magic card selection with ability to get most anything including true high end magic rarities.

Absolutely love this place! My daughter comes every week for Pokémon and I've never felt safer leaving her in the watchful eyes of the gentlemen working here.
These guys truly have a passion for what they do, and it shows in their friendliness, immense knowledge of innumerable games, and their welcoming spirit.

James at the Dork Den was very helpful and friendly. I am in a wheelchair, and there is a ramp in the back making this store accessible. Also, James has ensured there is enough space between shelves to be able to maneuver around in a wheelchair. He even asked me how the layout was and moved a game that stuck out a little far for my comfort to get past it. He has really taken care to be accessible. Kudos James! Well done! There is also a lot of great merchandise. Something for every gamer!

Really good spot, very clean and upper scale. They had a tournament going on so unfortunately we were not able to play MTG there. I was looking for D20 which they unfortunately did not have. Staff was nice and helpful. I did buy some sleeves for a decent price.

I have been a loyal Dork Den customer since they opened. I recently realized that I never left a review.
The staff has always been exceptionally friendly and well informed. They've helped me find gifts for my husband, nephews, friends, myself, etc.

I've purchased everything from buttons to board games to Minis to painting supplies to puzzles. Always my first stop when I need a gift for someone.

The Dork Den is a wonderful local gaming shop where there's something for just about everybody.

Dice. Cards. Minis. Books and LOTS more. I get greeted every time I walk in and feel welcome. It's a great spot to wander in and just look at stuff, but I warn you that you'll likely end up buying something you find every time.

The staff is quite friendly and helpful. Great place to go for gaming and supplies. My kids especially love the binders of loose Pokemon cards that they can sort through.

Such a comfortable atmosphere. Staff has been great each time I have been here. Friendly, helpful and welcoming. Such a wide variety of games and types of game play! If you have never been here, make it a point to stop in. You may find just the thing you always wanted, but didn't know you wanted it until you saw it. Lol

A deep dive into many kinds of awesome, yet with a highly approachable staff good at recommendation based on existing tastes. We're not in this area often, but we WILL be back.

Dork Den is THE one stop shop for all your tabletop game needs. Plenty of stuff for Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer 40K, and plenty of board games that most big stores just don't carry. Definitely recommend giving it a look before you shop online!

Nice owners and just had a ton of fun just chatting about board games... They never pressured me to buy anything and even gave me a specific recommendation based on personal interests once I asked for it. Honestly probably one of the best LGS experiences I've ever had. Hope the owners do well and keep busy! What a great store!

The staff and all the customers I met were friendly and inviting. The store itself was spacious, clean, and well organized. It even smelled good! Plenty of table space.

I love this store! The owners and staff are always very friendly and helpful. They have created a great place to meet new people and hang out with friends. Great store, super friendly owners. Lots of space for trying out games or bringing in whatever to play with friends. Events running weekly for whatever you may be into. Comics, minis, board games, paints, MTG, and pretty much any nerd stuff you need they have it!
