Lamplighter Restaurant & Pub

This place is a really cool restaurant to visit with your family or to just go to the bar. I first came to the lamplighter with my friend to sit at the bar. We loved it! As it's not a normal tavern bar, you can totally see the history of the building and the bar is the perfect lighting, not too bright, not too dark. Music volume and TV volume was low enough that we could talk and not have to shout and the drinks are what you would expect at a local bar. The building is so cool. One of the hosts told us a little bit about where the original building was and the expansions and showed us the architecture which is fascinating to look at. I came back here with my family and we had dinner and it was perfect. The catering/ events room is so pretty and I'm looking forward to have a party of some sort at this location. I feel bad that the exterior of the building is not what it s glory used to be as evidenced by the photo I took of the photo they have hanging. This is still a really cool spot and is a local gym that I hope lasts for another hundred years.

Wait staff was attentive and helpful with suggestions. We had prime ribs and eggplant parm, all prepared to our liking. Cheese cake for dessert, apparently homemade, was nice and lite and really hit the spot.

Great Irish Pub and Restaurant! Our first time there. Brian was an excellent bartender. The food was great, too. We sat at the bar and watched sports on all the tvs. I recommend the chicken scapparelli, and they have the best cheesecake desert. We will definitely be coming back.

Sometimes people forget a classic. Everything is so trendy and upcoming. I've been eating here for 25 years with a 15 year gap due to being out of the are. First meal back was like I never left. The food is absolutely OUTSTANDING!!!!!!! I've worked in over 50 restaurants in my life and it's still top 3. Please go try it soon. The owners have been around for 60 years and this quality will change after they sell. Go now!!!!

Our first visit here was a great one! We went at an odd time, so had the place to ourselves. Specials were great, service was great, and atmosphere was your classic bar and grill. Lots of rich dark wood. Had a nice chat with the owner and got a rundown of the history of the building. We will definitely be back!!!

It was a 3 women dinner. We each got our drinks promptly. I had the little neck steamed clams ( pic ).
Delicious! I also had the ceasar salad with anchovies yum. My sister had the medium wings, which were a generous portion. The other guest had the salmon topped salad a d ate every bite. We split two bread puddings. One with sauce on the side and the other as served. 2 Irish coffees ended our meals wonderfully. We will be back!

I have to say it first I was skeptical because we were the only people there until people started walking in. The food and service was absolutely terrific but I have to say that the bartender needs an award. She made me 2 chocolate martinis and honestly they are the best I've ever had

Great food, and great service. They had gluten-free options and accommodations. We had a last-minute party of eight and they gladly squeezed us in on Mother's Day.

I can only rate my experience solely on the appetizers and staff. For both I can say, the staff was great and the appetizers were good, specifically the wings and potato skins.

My friend and I swung by for dinner with our dogs. The waitress was fantastic, attentive and so courteous - I wish I knew her name. I had the chicken scaperelli which was AMAZING, very interesting flavor and texture. Thoroughly enjoyed the time here as we came from out of town.

The chicken pepperoncini is so unique and yummy. I love it!

Just went out to eat here for Easter - the sirloin steak was cooked to perfection! Everything we all ordered was great! Good quality food, fair prices indeed and our server Tiffany was super nice and good service! I definitely recommend coming here and will eat here again for sure!

What fantastic food. Been here for many many years. This family owned restraint whom I had the privilege to meet over the years really treat their customers like family. Bring the kids and enjoy the warm atmosphere and great American Cuisine.

Very nice place to grab a bite to eat and have a drink. Filet mignon special was pricey but a large cut. Meals were good, menu was short but the drinks made it worth the visit. Dessert was pretty good too. Staff was super friendly, a great spot to stop by on a Friday or Saturday evening

My family goes there after high school football games. It's quiet but we love that. Staff is great. Food does not disappoint.

Food was amazing, their wings and blue cheese are to die for.... Well, so is everything else on their menu. The atmosphere is of an nice homey irish pub which is just of my liking. We were waited on by a nice young man named Jesse who was such a friendly fellow. Will be coming back!

During a Saturday afternoon we stopped there to check out the food. They opened up a handicapped access for my wife's wheelchair. The food and service were exceptional.

Great food, great prices, great people. Never really crowded, so no wait. Usually have bands on Fridays. You should give it a chance if you haven't tried it.

Love this place! Historic building, great food and even better people. Pub and formal dining room. The burger and the Prime Rib are awesome! Do it.
