Absolutely delicious, especially the fried plantains. No doubt the best Jamaican food in New Hampshire. Atmosphere was fun and upbeat, server was very kind.

I got takeout, but realized later they have plenty of seating and a full bar. I loved the Oxtail Rice Plate with the coconut rice and beans. I got a side of mac n cheese, along with some jerk chicken. Surprisingly, my least favorite part was the chicken, though still good, and everything else was absolutely delicious. I think the chicken was breast, and I like thighs. I never had oxtail before. It was falling off the bone and a bit fatty, in a good way, and super tasty. I would recommend and I would come back.

Husband and I were first time visitors recently. I had the fish tacos (delicious!) and he had the jerk chicken plate. We also ordered the plantain appetizer. Food was great and we enjoyed the ambiance inside. Two things: I wish a sauce came with the plantains as they were a bit dry for my tastes and the restaurant was very warm inside and provided little relief from being outside. Next time we’ll try the rum bar!

Sat outside in the cute booth attached to the restaurant. Great service and vibe being in downtown Keene. Jamaican empanada patty, oxtail poutine and banana fritters were all amazing.

Super tasty Jamaican jerk chicken, curry chicken, and shrimp plates and Caribbean drinks! That's all I've tried so far, but can't wait to come back and sample more of their yummy menu! Will be back soon again for sure. Great folks running the place too, they are passionate about their food and business, and it shows! Bravo!

First off I'm not from Keene. I visit every couple months since I absolutely love new Hampshire and my wife is from here. I found this place last time I was here and I'm so glad o tried it out. I LOVE it. The service is spot on, the food is delicious, and it's got a nice and cozy atmosphere. We had the curry chicken, oxtail, jerk chicken, curry goat, shrimp and patties. All were fantastic but the top three were curry goat, oxtail and jerk chicken. Definitely going to be a regular stop when I'm here in Keene. A great gem and worth supporting.

I used Yahso Jamaican Grille to cater my wedding and they could not have been more wonderful! Literally every guest told me how much they loved the food and it was the best wedding meal they'd ever had! Everything was delivered hot, fresh and delicious! We did have a few vegetarian, gluten free, or dietary restrictive folks, but Yahso had something that could feed everyone and provided ingredient lists without hesitation.

Gail was my main contact and was very helpful during the months leading up to our event. She was very communicative and responsive to all my questions via email or text. She made sure I had everything I needed and understood how best to serve each dish and keep the food warm. We did pay for her team to deliver the food and they were very helpful bringing the dishes to the buffet area and setting everything up. Overall the cost was very reasonable and well worth the mountain of food we got. Love love love Yahso and thank them so much for making our special day full of happy and well fed family and friends!

I’ve been around long enough to have been to countless amounts of restaurants and there is only 1 where I’ve loved every single dish that was presented to me.. I hate collard greens and at the time, it didn’t say they were collards but I gave them a shot and I loved those as well.. Yahso Jamaican Grille is in no doubt my all time favorite restaurant! A must try everything even if you think you won’t like it you’ll be surprised that you do!! The picture I took was of the shrimp and grits having it for the first time and is now probably my favorite dish amongst all of them…

This place is really, really good. The meat pies are the real deal, street food-style with perfect crust and filling. I sampled the island shrimp and it's delicious, with a zippy dipping sauce and delicately spiced dirty rice. And the fried plantains are ridiculous. Bonus points that everything is crazy fresh and piping hot.

First time eating in, we loved our Oxtail Poutine and Banana Fritters. We wished you had been serving brunch though! Maybe next Sunday!

Cannot say enough amazing things about this place. I ordered pick-up and drove it 30 minutes home. The beef pattie was still flaky and hot, and jerk mac and cheese was absolutely perfect. Had a $90 order and the staff was patient and had it almost ready when my husband arrived to pick it up. He was told the beef pattie was cooking and was offered a veggie replacement or to wait. He chose to wait and it was worth it.

These chefs make me so satisfied. Yahso, is literally my favorite food ever now. I live in western MA and luckily attend lunches and dinners with my New Hampshire friend in Keene as often as we can just so we can find an excuse for jamacian food at Yahso.

Also the people at the front checkout table are kind and knowledgeable and run a good payment set-up. The prices are perfect, I’ve also noticed. So worth it when everything tastes so fresh.

I’ve had many of the types of food here, but mostly opt for the vegan or vegetarian faire. Fish, cauliflower, rice, and “Yuka Fries” are some of my favorite elements. The plantain burrito was surprisingly good. As a whole, their rice recipe is always perfect, always seasoned to perfection, and even with it as a base to the fish tacos, made my tastebuds come alive.

Only had a weird experience once, at the bar, they didn’t have cold beer on tap and not many people would take warm beer and it was a summer afternoon. Something must had gone wrong (with supply and staffing to set up a fresh keg) and I didn’t mind to go with a backup choice. So just keep in mind it’s a rather small bar, but for cocktails they seemed well stocked.

Keep up the great work, Yahso! We love ya

..OK..soo I love the vibe of this joint, it's fun! It's definitely Jamaican in theme, but it has that tiki bar sort of persona. The bar was super lively and the staff was really interactive with customers. I will say, the jerk wings were a little under my expectations; I love jerk cooking and visited Jamaica & Jamaican restaurants in US, seemed it was missing that great dry rub with oily finish. However, the sauce they served with it, AWESOME sweet-burn. Jerk is like BBQ, there are many takes and preferences, so I can't knock it. The Mac & Cheese was AMAZING!

Friendly, low-key vibe. A casual spot for a quick & tasty bite. Jerk chicken tacos were really flavorful (spicy mayo wasn't too hot), and the sweet plantains were perfect. I ordered some mac and cheese to go, so I can't to get home and dig in. A great find for caribbean food living so far from home.

If you're looking for authentic Jamaica cuisine, this is the spot! I got the BBQ jerk chicken plate with a side of plantain and it was absolutely delicious. We got takeout due to the pandemic but we definitely would have dined inside if we could. The inside is beautifully decorated with Jamaican colors and other decorations, the dancehall music is awesome and everything looks modern, cool and clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful, they made sure we had everything for our order plus extra jerk sauce. I can't wait for places to open back up, this will be the first place I visit for dining in.
