Excellent park with nice trails. Lots of varied landscape. The pond is full of blue gills.
Trails are mild with a few steep spots

A wonderfully peaceful place to run, walk, bike and boat! And there is well maintained dog park.

Lovely park to visit especially with friends and family. I walked the many trails and enjoyed the cast fields that accompanied them.

very nice local park. it is bigger than it appears. there is a John Bird pavilion and next to that is a small ballpark and there was a rare sparrow behind the backstop

Currently under construction,but it appears that it's going to be a great park with many amenities befitting The Monmouth County Park System 's ongoing excellent management and continuing upgrades of the entire group of assorted parks. Our countie's parks are one example of why Monmouth County, and New Jersey are a great place to live!
Big Brook Park has huge open spaces, wooded areas and many paths to walk or run on, and various sporting areas. Portions remain open during construction so check it out.

Very clean and not very busy (when I visit on weekdays) so it's peaceful.

Amazing park, endless trails to walk or ride. I had a great day at this park. I only wish there was a pond or lake on-site. Gorgeous piece of protected land.

Beautiful place to hike, even set up a hammock if you want. If you've got the energy to search, there's fossils in the river, too.

I love this park, I want to finish the trail, but the first part of the park ends and then I cant find the entrance to the continuing route. I am determine to finish it.

I love this park. It's mostly comprised of one, very long path, surrounded first by open land, then trees. You may find the two parking lots nearly full, but on the trails, there isn't much traffic at all.

Though it's baren compared to other parks and trails, you experience a very pure connection with nature here. As a runner, I can get 8 miles in easily since the path is smooth, flat, and goes some distance.

I stopped here Saturday morning. Past by dozens of times, yesterday was the day. Beautiful park, lots of trails, open fields, great for all age groups. I spent 2 hours walking the trails ( should have spent more time, lots to see ). Dozens of people ride bikes, walking dogs, running, walking having a good time. I highly recommend this place, very cool. 😎👍👍👍👍👍

One of my favorite places to go to relax with friends and enjoy mature. There are good places to walk, a pond, and grassy areas to sit if you want to do a picnic type thing. I’ve never had any problems here and it’s never really crowded.

It's always an adventure strolling through Big Brook Park with friends or family. The trail is so scenic and picturesque that I always feel like I discover something new each time I go. I highly recommend walking/running/biking with someone so you don't get lost because the trails get confusing sometimes, especially in the evenings. I personally love it here to get some peace and quiet.

It's where hunters go to hunt deer. Has decommisioned farmland surrounding area. Be advised that there are thorn bushes all over the place.
