Troy Police Department

I recently moved to Troy, NH. One day I saw an officer on my St. When he finished conducting his business, I asked for a moment of his time. The officer was extremely friendly and glad I took the initiative to introduce myself. It just happens that I had just met the Chief of Police! I had told him that I would like to spend some time when he was available, reviewing who I was and my history. He stated that he really liked it when new community members reached out. When he had available time he would love to listen to my life's tale. My first impression is not only the Chief but the entire Police Department care about their community. I also had the pleasure of meeting an officer whom was just as personable. Are they cloned? Nope just a group of dedicated, knowledgeable, friendly Police Officers that know their community very well. Currently you are not able to actually enter the Police Station(I believe due to Covid). There is a # posted to call and apparently they are all very quick to respond. As I plan on staying in this small community, it's very reassuring to know there is such a dedicated and caring Police presence here.
