Sammy J's Breakfast Cafe

We like eating here wife had bacon and cheese omelet with home fries and rye toast. She enjoyed it. I had the deluxe French toast with fresh Italian bread cinnamon butter and powder sugar. Had four slices. Also two eggs and bacon. Everything was cooked perfect. But could hardly taste the cinnamon or power sugar. Server was great. Parking in front is tight. Plenty of parking in rear and rear entry. Also muffins chocolate chip and coffee cake to go. Very good.

Enjoyed the omelet (spinach, sausage and feta), ingredients were cooked before the egg and they had many potato options. Bonus points

This place is an absolute gem! We are from Europe travelling through US and we stopped for a little breakkie. Sammy J's smashed it. Staff was absolutely lovely and attentive, place has very cool design, typical American breakfast place you see in US movies. And the food guys... I don't even know how to describe this pleasure I had from the very first bite. If not sure what to order, just ask staff! :-) Warning for Europeans: portions are massive (but we still manage to eat it all!). You just must go to Sammy J's!

Don't be fooled by the exterior, Sammy J's is a traveller's treasure. The wait staff is incredibly kind and attentive, the food is hot, delicious, and dirt cheap. Trust me when I say bring your appetite!

Sammy J's is a great, classic American diner. A mom and pop kind of place. Several variations on the Eggs Benedict, including the Irish with corned beef hash, and Greek with feta cheese. Cool retro look, service was fast and friendly. Definitely check out the specials before you decide on your order!

We originally came out here for Breakfast at Maddies which is what they are known for. They close at 2. We arrived at 11:10 and were told they stopped serving breakfast at 11. We drove out from Nashua. My mother surprised me for my birthday. When they turned us away we googled great breakfast near me and thankfully Sammy J's popped up and saved the day! I ordered the Big Boy breakfast and waffles. I loved the scrambled eggs so much I ordered 3 more! Jenna was my waitress and her service was amazing! She was prompt, thought, warm, courteous, patient and kind. We'd never been there so we didn't know about stuff on the menu and she answered all our questions. Way to go Sammy J's! You guys are the best and this is a breakfast to remember!

The flavoring of the food was delicious, waitress was so helpful considering the fact it was our first time there and the atmosphere was clean and quiet where you can enjoy your conversations. Highly recommend!!!

Food & service were FANTASTIC!!! We ate outside, indoor seating is available. Forest day I had Irish eggs benedict. The pouched eggs were cooked perfectly. Had was delicious. My son had the cinnamon french toast, hash and kielbasa. All delicious!! The next morning I had the hash with eggs over medium. Again eggs were perfect, hash had a wonderful outer crust. My son had Apple cinnamon pancakes. They were fluffy with large chunks of apple.

I've been going to Sammy Js for years food and service has always been great not to many mom and pop family dinners around for a classic family breakfast this place should not be missed

The food was so good that I was concerned why there wasn’t a long line waiting to get in. Husband had Greek Benedict that was beyond expectations. Their grilled potatoes are amazing. The server was so chipper and made me smile every time she came to our table. Unbelievable service.

Very good experience. I had a wonderful omelette. Even here many times and can’t recall getting a bad meal here.

Amazing food at a reasonable price. Have never been here where the food wasn't consistently perfect. Terrific staff. Decor and vibe a little bland, but that's nitpicking. Best food and value around. Try the Big Boy Breakfast: 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 sausages, 2 slices of bacon, ham, toast and hashbrowns. $9.99. Yep you read that right.

The food was great perfect size portions I personally had a ham and cheese omelette with ham and mushroom cooked great in with the egg it was excellent

Delicious. We way over ordered Bc we wanted to try so much. Awesome staff too! We sat out side and saw them diligently cleaning tables as people got up (Covid).
