Catskill Momos

My daughter and I just had the most amazing meal at Catskill Momos! The chickpea and beef/chives dumplings were fantastic. Save room for the dessert dumplings that were out-of-this world delicious. The owner and chef is wonderful to speak with and makes you feel special!
We have been waiting months to finally eat at Momos and can't wait to return!!

Guy was working by himself so it got a little backed up behind my order but he got my order out fast. Everything was great. Well worth any wait.

I was really hesitant to try out dining at this place due to some reviews saying some comments here are fake. But I tried it anyway just last week and I can really attest that the food here at Catskill Momos are great! I'm obsessed with their momos, which I think are filled with beef and chickpea. Their own version of ramen with chicken is great and the chicken thupka is fantastic!

I really want to encourage everyone to try this out before believing some bad reviews.

Visiting from Utah. We drove an hour to eat here because of my brother-in-law's recommendation. We had the Alu Dham, Mushroom Tofu Momo, Super Green Momo, Chicken Thukpa Ngoepa, Mango Lassi, and the Juicy Mango Mochi ice cream. All excellent. The service was great, very prompt and friendly. I wish we lived closer!

Went for my first time today and I can say the food is absolutely wonderful, tasty, and I will be back for more without a doubt! The location has been open for about 3 months now in the Delhi area, so if you are looking for a new place to try, this is it! Our server was a sweetheart and very knowledgeable about the food on the menu! It's a Tibetan style restaurant and offers unique food to the area. It's very cozy inside, a little small, but perfect! I'm very happy to see a new business in this college town. Give it try, you will love it here!

Facing facts, you will find NO other establishment preparing authentic Tibetan momos ANYWHERE in the Catskills, so this market niche is a sealed deal! That said, the momos are of outstanding quality, available in vegetarian and meat-filled varieties. The proprietor Jimmy is very friendly, and the Buddhist decorations are gorgeous. The bathroom is narrow but clean. Unpaved parking in the restaurant's front and on its side. In November 2021 the Delaware County Libertarian Party hosted Larry Sharpe at this location during his campaign for New York Governor.

Tiny restaurant, but clean! Excellent food! We had the chive and beef momos, deep fried beef pastry (Sha Bhaleb) and the Shogo Momo ( potato and cheese dumpling). All were tasty and savory! Can't wait to go back!

On our way home from the Delaware County Fair my wife and I stopped in to order some Momos. Our first time being here. We ordered the mushroom-tofu, giant beef and chickpea Momos. We did take-out as we were both pretty beat from a full day at the fair.

Since we still had an hour plus drive we decided to eat while traveling! Not to bright but yummy. The food was on time and very, very good.

By the time we got home we had to microwave the dumplings to heat them up. Probably would have been ideal to put a wet towel over them or dip them in salt water as they did dry out. They were still delicious though!

Best to eat them fresh on-sight and if doing take out ask the best way to reheat.

Last night I experienced @catskillmomos for the first time.

Let me just say..... Wow! And not just any WoW, I mean Gordon Ramsey after tasting the perfect scallop WoW. @gordongram

The authentic Tibetan food was beyond delicious. The food was so fresh, perfectly hand made, and cooked to perfection. I literally ate so much, I had to force myself to stop. We officially have what could only be found in Tibet itself, maybe Manhattan the closest, in Delhi, NY!!

From the dumplings, to the beef stir fry, back to a chocolate dripping dumpling for dessert, along with a flourless almond cake.

Again - WoW.

Not to mention the two gentlemen that helped us. What I loved even more about this restaurant is that not only did we have amazing food, but the service was just as fantastic. The chef is coming out to help bus and serve us. His sous chef was just as incredible. He even tolerated me asking him how to properly pronounce the foods names because I was twisting my tongue. To have your executive chef come out and sing Happy Birthday to your Mom.....I mean, speechless.....like no other......HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU GO RIGHT AWAY!! Don't wait!! Just go!! Order one of everything off of the menu. I promise you will not be disappointed. 💙🙏💙

My husband and I have been coming to this wonderful place for 2 years now! We live an hour and a half away, but make the trip, happily, for the best Momos in NY. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the owner, Jimmy, is incredibly kind and generous (and makes the food himself!) with a lovely staff. The best! Make sure to try the C and super green Momos :)

Delicious and great service! We had the beef and chive momos and the Chana masala. We can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu!

Such a pleasant dining experience: the chicken curry was spectacular, and the beef Momos we tried were perfect. They really go out of their way to make perfect and memorable food. Highly recommend!!

Excellent dumplings! We ordered a bunch of flavors and shared them family style. My favorite was the C- Momo dumplings, they come in a savory sauce that to can soak up the dumplings in.

Catskill Momos is some of the best food in the area and the restaurant does a great job with their service and the food is absolutely delicious .We came all the way from the West Coast for a wedding. Oh my gosh don't pass this one up. I can't understand how there are any bad reviews on this place seems almost impossible. If this restaurant was nearby where we lived we would live at this place.

Food was DELICIOUS. The c momos (jhol momo) especially, amazing! Service also great and very personable.

Stopped here for lunch on the way to Catskill for stargazing. It's a cute little restaurant with good food. Specially for vegetarian options. Priced reasonably.

Delicious food expertly prepared and served by wonderful people with well-honed hospitality skills. Delhi is lucky to have this excellent, inexpensive restaurant. It’s my favorite!
